No Still waiting. Il give it another week its been 6 days accordinf to the spreadsheet it took 2 weeks for someone else to get a PPR after DM. Hoping it comes today but if not then il just have to wait

I cant imagine myself waiting for so many months; its been only a month that my application was received by CPC.

So me and AmyR had a question:
Can we voluntarily submit an updated police certificate to LVO? for instance mine expires in november (3 months validity) and hers in six months.

How often does LVO ask for new police certificate and for what reason?

How often does LVO ask for new police certificate and for what reason?

You can definitely submit 'additional documents' voluntarily. According to ancient forum theorists, it could lead to delay in your application but that's still to be confirmed.

If the certificate is expired, LVO will ask for it. It's one of the main items for background checks.

My husband's PC was expired by Feb 2016, and I don't think they started any work on our file at that time, let alone background checks. They never asked for a new one. I think it's best to wait for a proper request from the visa office, but that's just my opinion. What I would suggest is gather everything beforehand in case you are required to send additional proofs/docs. I never 'voluntarily' sent them anything, but I was gathering relationship proofs throughout the past year incase I was ever asked to send them.

LVO is very unpredictable. It's a hit and miss, some will get asked, while others will not.
