No news so far
Idk whats wrong its been 11 months since our application...

No news from my side too..i dont know what to do.its so frustrating.

It'll be 10 months for me. I feel everyone's pain as I'm going through it myself. I've gone into depressive state. It's the fear of unknown what's killing me. We can just keep waiting for the weeks and months to pass.

I received my notes today according to which nothing has started :-\
Medical expired 2016/09/23
But in notes it says something due date for medical is 2017/02/16

That unknown waiting time is so killing. No one knws how long. Already close to 11th month. Under severe depression

I suggest we all follow-up with our MPs, if not already done so. Also, order notes.

I've done both of the above.

So me and AmyR had a question:
Can we voluntarily submit an updated police certificate to LVO? for instance mine expires in november (3 months validity) and hers in six months.

How often does LVO ask for new police certificate and for what reason?

well, better to submit it, it's useless for you to keep it and let it expire.
Let it expire in LVO at least they will be able to see you submitted a valid one.
No harm in it at all, it will not "delay" anything.

how did you get your MP to see you? His staff refused to even inquire with CIC because it was still under normal "processing time" .. The medical is expiring next week and so far no remed req either.

No, I don't waste my time visiting their offices since I know how government offices work. I send them emails and then follow up if I don't get a response.

I'm waiting for a response today. If not, then I'll follow-up on Tuesday. I know most of the MPs are useless.

Some people have the same result for medical after they had provided remed to LVO. So it could be a good thing.

From what I've gathered, when people start seeing background checks in-progress, that's when PPRs are handed out.

few days ago, they have demanded updated schedule A/background info from me.. Does it mean my background checks have started?
