Thanks for the reply. But there are questions about sponsor not living in Canada i.e. in Residency Questionaire it asks for proof of home ownership, phone bills in Question 3 of the form if sponsor is not living in Canada..

I think the courier method is the best?

Also what kind of things are they looking for in the question: "What preparations have you and or your sponsor made for your move to canada?" in the Residency Questionaire form?

My sponsor is in Canada so i did not fill that part. Preparations like where you would stay after you and sponsor move to Canada? If the sponsor is not doing any job where would he get the money from to support you etc

why don't you fill out the forms and put the date on them when you're in Canada?

May be the consultant was right. CIC is encouraging to have long term TRV's for parents and grand parents whose PR cases are under process. This might be applicable for spouse as well.

On what date did you receive sponsor approval? And on what date did your PR column in ecas go into process?

My pr showed in process since March,I got my sponsor approval on 7 sept and my remed is scheduled for 06-oct-2016.

What do u mean by sponsor approval??
I guess u r talking about the dm that appeared on ecas status?

Sponsor approval is the letter which u receive stating ur file is being transferred to specific visa office.. When did u get that?

My wife is not doing any job at the moment so we got affidavits from our relatives in canada that they will support us once I get my PR and move to Canada. You can do the same but keep in mind that you have prove this as well that you guys will move to canada once your spouse gets PR. For that you need to show job letter or University/College offer letter etc

If you can explain in details what you're planning to do than you can get more suggestions from other members as well. Right now I'm assuming that you want to live in Pakistan until your spouse gets PR.

"A friend of mine just got PPR today! Jan 12th, 2016 applicant! They didn't even ask for additional documents. Shocked

The letter from CIC states that they must submit the passport within 30 days.

Here's his 'dilemma' (if we can call it that): he's supposed to be going on a vacation with his wife to Malaysia in 2 week's time, with the tickets/hotels already booked. Is it wise to request CIC for an extension on the 30 days, or should he cancel his vacation plans to send the passport off? His main concern is that the Police Certificate was supposed to be expiring at the end of this month. If he requests CIC for an extension, then they may open that can of worms. I tend to think that with the decision already made, it's already sealed and only a Medical expiry stands in the way.

Landing_PR: If it's any relief, this person had 2 TRV refusals since they got married. And yet he flew straight to a PPR!"

It is a relief but I'm waiting for CIC to start working on my file still!! Nothing has been updated :'(

Yes that's exactly what I thought that snowy is asking about when did I got my dm in spousal sponsorship application.
Anyways answer to ur question is 01-March -2016
Ps:yaaay I have a feeling we r gonna have stamped passports really soon IA IA

I was expecting add doc request to be like police clearance, proof of comm, pics etc.. !! Does it mean that these are the only docs they had found incomplete or inappropriate.!!

That would be considered as your 'doc request'. Many times, that's all they would request as an updated form.
