What does visibility in effect means? My MP told me that visibility is in effect background not started and processing time is 24 month and no request for further info required.

From what I can decipher, they are giving you the same answer my MP gave me:

The processing time is 24 months so please be patient.
Background check hasn't been started.
Application is still in queue to be assigned to an officer.

Yeah same ans but i am not clear about visibility in effect? Are they talking about eligibility?

I think they probably meant eligibility. Was it an email they sent?

What about Jan Feb applicants? Heard they were getting documentrequests but no such thing on spreadsheet?

I've heard it too but unless people who are receiving doc requests provide us info, we can't update the spreadsheet.

My Brother get married in 2013, when they registering their Nikah Nama his wife was in Canada, but they did Waleema etc his wife was in PAKISTAN. now he was asked to give the reason that they get proxy married as Proxy marriage is not accepting any more. any please him in this regards.

any know any reliable consultant in Canada or UK or Pakistan to prepare reply in this regards.

Today i got an email that my application has been updated. when i went to mycic, the only update was that Review of Eligibility had turned from "Not started" to "Review in progress".

Can you please tell me what this means?

Can you please tell me what this means?

It mean they are reviewing your Canadian sponsor to see if he/she is qualified to sponsor the applicant. If the sponsor is approved you will receive a Sponsorship approval letter stating your approval and which visa office your file will be transferred to for further processing. This approval usually takes 56-60 days from the day you applied. Hope this helps
