This is correct. You didn't screw up.

How i did mine was, to make it easily readable and clear without any error; i printed labels for all the pictures i attached. For instance, i made a standard template in Ms. Word with the following information (Date, Location, Occasion, Attendees) and put it at the back of the pictures. No pen/writing was involved.

I did the same. Laid out pictures on one sheet of the same occasion then printed labels with names, date etc. Then did the same for other pictures. It'll really depend on the officer.

no, what i meant to ask was do we only need to write the names of the people in the photos, or do we also need to write their relationship to us? my wife and i only wrote names.

If I remember correct, old guide mentioned to write relationship with the applicant. But the new guide doesn't ask us to write the relationship. I will try to see if I have a copy saved for the older guide.

You will be fine either way. In spouse questionnaire, they ask principal applicant about who they have met from in-laws. Visa officer can cross check the names from pictures with the spouse questionnaire. If visa officers feel lazy, they will ask for more pictures with relationships.

In my case I wrote the relationship besides the name. It might seem like an overkill, but I am sure CIC will appreciate me not making their life hell haha

I agree, it depends on the officer.

I personally didn't write the relationship, just the names. CofRed's reply above makes sense.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Hello,
I am completing spousal sponsorship forms. I have three questions:
1) In supplementary form there is a section Military service. My wife is house wife and has not perform any medical training. Do I have to write NO or Not applicable and from where I can get "exemption certificate"

2) For nationals of Pakistan:
"Provide certified copies of the photo and information page of your valid passport and of any old expired passports for you and your family members." Family members include sponsor? I am sponsoring my wife, so should I also have to send certified copies.

3) How to label marriage photos?

Thanks and regards

I wrote on the back of the photos the name, relationship, date and location.
