Sorry i feel like i keep asking dumb questions but what is a TRV and how do i apply for one?

No questions are dumb. Feel free to ask

TRV = Temporary Resident Visa aka visitor visa.
Word of caution: Apply carefully and mindfully. Making sure there's no misrepresentation. As CIC is very quick to apply a ban on false information application for 2 - 5 years. Hope that doesn't scare you. I applied and got rejected too.

TRV can be applied online or a paper based application.

I'm worried now too. Because I included everything written on the back. They ask for the complete address of the photo studio, my photographer stamped it and write the name of the studio, street, number and the city as "RWP" meaning Rawalpindi, BUT DID NOT WRITE Pakistan. So will this be considered incomplete address? This is such an irrelevant detail!

Hey guyz i want to know that i have sent in the additional docs requested but i want to know that after this will the ask for the passport or will they just issue a letter of landing requirements....??

She's a Nov applicant.

Perhaps look at the spreadsheet to find applicant's timeline?

Yes, you will need to send in your passport for visa stamping. Insh'aAllah you will receive an email with all the instructions laid out.

Thanx a lot and just remember me in ur prayers... but just to ask i had my husband sent in the additional docs thru postal mail but should i also sent them thru LVO web form as they mentioned in the email that they need to have the docs in office within 45 days... So what do u suggest i should do...??

Yes, it doesn't hurt to send them a scanned copy via web form as well. Also mention that you have sent the original copies via postal mail.

thanks alot ! i really hope some thing positive comes around as its been a really long time and i have stated every little detail possible. i just want my family here ASAP ... we have lived for more then 2 yrs together in its been 5 yrs .. have 2 kids ... sent more then 50 pics lol ... documents everything ... both kids have their PROOF OF CANADIAN CITIZENSHIP CERTIFICATE so they are Canadian all they need is a Canadian passport which they can get with in a month even sooner if the wife gets her visa then she can attach that along with passport application.

Though i just though of a question ? .... if anyone can answer this .. when she does get her VISA what is the validity on it ? cuz medical is expiring in Nov 2016. will it be till the Medical or till Passport Validity ? and what if the passport is expiring next year ?

soo many questions .... lol

Send a Case Specific Inquiry regarding your medical expiry. Please read Flx's post:

if your app is 8+ months old and your medical is close to expiring, don't sit back and wait! send LVO an email and go to your MP.

Update:

This information may be useful to anyone who's medical may be due to expire in 4ish weeks.

I had this email today...

"Dear Applicant,
Thank you for your message. The validity of your medicals was extended until 7 June 2017 and your application was subsequently approved. Your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) was sent to your Canadian address on 5 July 2016.
We trust the above is of assistance.
Yours sincerely,

Immigration and Medical Services Division..."

So I'm pretty certain now that sending the case specific enquiry regarding my medical on 4th July sped up my
application. It may have been due to switch to DM soon anyway as LVO are currently working on October 2015 applications, but the fact they sent out COPR the day after makes me feel like the email helped. It's such a relief to hear from them!
