I hope your application is in final stage of processing as medical request is the last thing they do to finalize the application so congrats

My timeline is very close to your timeline and I did medical on 20 September 2015.

I have a question, why they asked you for re-medical when u still have validity until 26 August 2016?

Did you ever order GCMS notes and found out if they wrote "surveillance required" in medical section of the notes? Because if they wrote Yes to this question then they might want to repeat the medical before visa issuance?
Another thing, if you see on GCMS notes, there are two dates for medical:
One is VALIDITY which will be exactly one year from the date it was done and other is DUE DATE which will be approximately 2 moths after the validity? So do u know what dates are on your GCMS notes please

I just want to know if I will have to re-do the medical as well

no there is one form that you have to fill with your hand and that is mp's form this form is called release form
and the other from you have to fill electronically this form is called consent form
what you need to do just fill these forms and make an appointment with your mp take these forms with you he/she will sort you out straight away
I went through this process last week

What was the response from MP????? how much help they can do ? plz share

i just went through the country specific guide 3907e for pakistan and there has been changes regarding the original documents..they no longer require original documents just the photocopies not even certified...
i need to know what to do...do i have to follow it and just sent the simple photocopies?

when she rang there they took about 8 to 10 minutes on hold
and then they said this applicant has passed his eligibility and now we don't want anything from him and my case move forward to background checks let's see when they will contact me
since 5th of the may 2016 my file in Background checks according to gcms notes

You will receive acknowledgment in approx 30-40 days .

So i will just received acknowledgment of application in 30-40 or it includes sponsorship evaluation too? Whats next?

Hi All,

I have a few questions:-

-I am gathering all documents for my application. Do I have to get my Bachelor's Degree attested from my college? It was in the UK in my case.
-Secondly, how long can the sponsor spouse stay out of Canada after applying for the principal applicant? I understand my husband has to be living n Canada but can he travel for like 2 3 weeks as a vacation?

Your Bachelor degree if your college is listed in the list of accepted universities/colleges list then you do not need it but if it is not then you have to get it attested both from your college in UK then it needs to be attested by HEC Pakistan as well and foreign office too. In my case i didnot had to because my university was listed in the accepted universities in Canada and i just gave that code number that's it. Secondly depending upon if your husband is citizen or pr he can travel anytime

Can I get any link where I can find out if my university is in the list of accepted universities in Canada? I did bachelor's from UK as well.
