According to Eagle 33 post, there are two lead officer assigned to each file ( ther will be some others too), one in Mississauga and one in Visa office
I received a correspondence from a visa officer, name PLB, so I assume this is the lead officer in LVO assigned to my file Inshallah
Am October 27th applicant by the way!

VISA officer at Mississauga approves the sponsor eligibility. Visa Officer at LVO approves sponsored person application. I think Visa officer at LVO can not be identified prior to PPR1/PPR2. When we receives PPR request that comes from Visa officer

As per my experience, PLB replies back to eCASE queries and any email that's send to LDNIMMIGRATION.

Hello all,

How much time in average is it taking for Pakistani applicants these days? I am intended to apply in next two months. Guidelines and suggestions are appreciated.

On average 10-11 months. But some people are so lucky to get in less than 10 months

A friend of mine has been out of a job for over a year now but he got his nikkah done this year in Feb in Karachi.... now he's hesitating in submitting his application since he doesn't have a job yet....

Should he wait until he gets a job or should he submit the application now?

He's worried that they will reject his application since he doesn't have a job at the moment.

Over 80 Days after Interview , No DM yet ... Ordered GCMS note but was not helpful.. I do not know how If I've Passed Interview or not , Being In Anxiety from 80 Days is not a piece of cake , it is Depressing .. At least they should tell me that If my Eligibilty Is Pass.. I was wondering after Interview we will not be in Limbo about Applicant Eligibility but ................... I again Requested GCMS note might be this time I will find something and sent Enquiry about Eligibilty .

Get your MP involved by sending an email or calling. Anyone who's had an interview and it's been over 30 days, should get their MP involved. MPs can check for any notes or updates and can provide you with information. Good luck!

Is it ok address of my wife on nikah namma is different then the one on her NICOP?

oh ok, i guess you are right, since my inquiry was regarding change of address and Ecas which is still showing old address.

Hi Guys,

Can some of you have a look at the checklist below and advise me if I am missing something. The application is for my wife in Pakistan

Supporting Docs

1. Original Nikah-Nama with Certified Translation from a Canadian Agency (Do I need to get this notarized as well if I am sending the original per Form 3907e)

2. Marriage Certificate From Nadra (Has English & Urdu) - Attested

3. Birth Certificate -for both of us- (These are not original but the Bayform or whatchumaccallit) - Translated from Canadian Certified thingy

4. Original transcripts for the wife. She did not want to let these ones go, my head on a pike if CIC loses these.

5. Police Certificate. Just curious this thing expires in July, should I get another one made ?

6. Medical done two months ago

7. Attested CNIC copy

8. Attested copies of all her Pakistani Passports (including old ones)

9. Her passport mugs

10. Wedding pics

11. Chat Histories whatsapp, emails, travel iternaries, etc.

12. Forms - by the truckloads

13. My degrees from Uni

14. Employers blessing

15. Proof of getting my a$$ probed by Revenue Canada every year - Also known as Option C printout

awsome, and other than that what u sent with application? no chat history?

This seems like u didnot use additional sheets with Applicant forms for Relationship development or after marriage activities? u kept everything simple and precise?

Hey, I only sent my pictures of us going out after the wedding and all my wedding events, my wedding photos had each guest named from country they flew from. Wedding cards, my salon make up reciepts, and all that stuff, furniture reciepts. But no chat history, or plane tickets.

He will get a new job very soon inshallah.
In my opinion, If he does not have debts and he is not asking government for financial help, this is sufficient to be approved as a sponsor. However, he can write a cover letter about his job searches.
If he delays submitting the application then there can be a new issue, Why did not he apply before? I have read such questions (on this forum) for applicants who applied late.

Send them ur chat history now or later in couple of months coz they deceided my interview in my case I didn't send them call history and that interview took 18 months extra time and still going.

And all documents submitted to uc to get marriage certificate.

My visa officer is LJF
Any body who knows how much time ljftakes after recieving docs?

30-40 days from the date of doc request, provided that there is no remedical.

your case is looking good; he didn't ask for more proof of relationship. just send whatever he asked for and you'll get DM by july.

Yup he dis not ask me remedical or proof of ongoing relation may be because i sent proofs voluntraily for visit to pakistan

not sending call logs is highly unlikely to be a reason for getting interviewed. interviews cost CIC time and money, so if evidence of communication is what they want, they will simply ask for it over email instead of flying to islamabad and requesting a hard copy.

they might ask you to bring evidence of ongoing communication to an interview, but that does not mean lack of evidence was their main reason for requesting an interview in the first place.
