i looked at this http://bit.ly/canpaktimeline spreadsheet, and all the people who applied between july 2015 and september 2015 got DM in just 4-5 months. meanwhile the rest of us who applied later are already at the 4-5 month mark and we haven't gotten anything... they haven't even touched our apps according to our gcms notes!!! what's going on? did CIC go on vacation after the elections?

certainly feels this way :'( some random sept applicants got DM & a few becharey april-aug walay still in queue :'(

one of my uncles told me that harper's govt was speeding up apps to get more votes for election, but i didn't believe it at the time. i even posted here asking if this was true, and everyone said that they had never heard of such a thing. now all this BS is making me think twice about that...

In that case I think I should dump canada and move to the middle east. They told me that they received the additional documents and they are currently being reviewed by an immigration officer. Additional documents request absolutely does not imply that someone is in Interview queue. There are countless cases of additional docs like Urdu Nikah Nama and I am no different.

If interview was needed they would not have asked for additional docs and would have settled the score during interview. These whities are lazy. They do an hour's worth of work in a month. That is the reason for unprecedented delays.

sorry, i must have misunderstood. yes you are right about that; if you've had a doc request then you most likely aren't in an interview queue at this time. maybe the delay is from them putting your file away after sending you the doc request?

and you're not the only one thinking of leaving canada... i'm also going to leave if they take more than a year to process. it might be fine for some but we can't stand being separated. and they're only making it more difficult by refusing visitor visas so we can at least be together while the app is in process.

what if you're in the interview queue? you should order notes.

Ordering notes makes sense when you exceed the average processing time, I have applied in September and it is now less than seven months since CPC Mississauga received my application . When did you apply for your notes after application? I expect some good thoughts from fellow member rather than pessimistic comments.

When did you apply for your notes after application? I expect some good thoughts from fellow member rather than pessimistic comments.

i'm sorry, i'm just making wild guesses. there would have been doc requests asking for more proof before they even considered an interview, and since you haven't had any doc requests during these 7 months, you're most likely in the clear.

as for the gcms notes, i ordered them because i wanted to find out what the line "we started processing" meant on ecas. what i found in the end was that it was just an AOR2, and it doesn't mean that they're working on the file.

I am also Sep.9 , 2015 applicant. After AOR and SA, no request for any thing. When I check ecas it says in process since Nov 20. I visited my family in Dec.2015 but didn't update CIC about it.

me too. flew over to see the husband dec 2015 but havent given updates about that yet. no docs request from LVO too as of yet. says in process since 29 dec 2015 :'(

insha allah. yes it has affected us. i find it hard to even focus at work because of this BS. and i hate to admit this, but when i see other people going through ottawa VO getting their DMs so quickly, it's hard for me to be happy for them because it just seems so unfair.

anyway, i'm taking a break from this forum and ecas for a while. this is driving me insane.

U should submit ur proofs of that visit voluntarily that's what I did. It's a positive impact on file.
