Ok anyways, the situation is still unclear as far as the baby is concerned. But im still gonna try and contact CHC (Isb).

Meanwhile, can anyone tel me how much time does it take for LVO to do the background checks? i had my interview done on March 17, 2016 and the lady said she is fine with my application and told that shes gonna ask for my passport when the bakground checks are approved. I asked her how much time does it take annd in reply she never told me the exact duration of this procedure!!!

That's the one who conduct mine . how was she with you ? I mean rude , frank etc .. ? what she said you at the end of your interview? did you take your Passport and passport pics ?

With me she was not rude at all but very co-operative, at then end of interview she said i will e-mail decision . she returned my passport and tell me that she will go through the documents that I've submitted to her during interview .

Your E-cas is showing Decision Made, when you click decision made does it show you that

'' We sent you a letter on XXX . Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us ''

Her way of talking was very polite and frank. She was a nice lady.
First she call me almost half hour she talk to me then she said u go and told your husband(sponser) come here. After ten minutes she again call me and start talking with boht of us( me and my husband)
At the end of interview She said pay your lending fees we contact u soon.
We bring all documents like pictures, chat record, financial support receipts, police clearance. She returned all documents except police clerence

Ok Thank you very much from prompt response. Since the sponsored person doesn't have any UCI right now, can they get appointment with IOM without that paper from CIC?

If you are sponsoring your spouse, he/she can go for his/her medicals to IOM. Definitely its gona be his/her first Medicals, so he/she won't he having his/her UCI. Therefore its no big deal, that person can go for his/her medicals without their UCI. Once you get the Sponsorship Approval, they will send a letter and in it the Applicant(sponsored person) will be allotted his/her UCI Number.

First of all congratulations after long time you get visa.
Can you let us know why it's too late ? It's due to 2012/13 files or something else ?

yeas the main reason is of cases of 2012/2013, first tne cases were processed in Islamabad it took 2 years there then cases were shifted in London visa office and again here took 2 years too.

yeah i know when u get the email for ur meds appointment it says to bring a form etc, i did print out one for the husband to fill but i wasnt with him when he had his meds done so he never filled his & there was no issues he just took all the other docs, pictures & the cash asked for in the email & the results were electronically transfered to LVO.
he didnt need to fill in a form beforehand. so dw.

My Status on ecas says Decision Made but nothing has changed when I click on the link. Can the decision be negative or do they not change the status if the application is rejected.

I want to ask once you get visa and pack your luggage do u have to list all the item you are carrying and declare at the airport if they ask.... In what format do you write and what do you include in the list

can someone please tell me the address for the medical center in islamabad? applying for wife's sponsorship but seems like the IMO office from the panel list from cic in islamabad is closed permanently.

I am going to apply for my husband in a month or so and we are just starting to look at the application process. Seems daunting to say the least.
This might be a really dumb question but here it goes: He didn't change the status on his CNIC after we got married and went to apply for a Pakistani passport. His marital status is still single on the passport application. Should he reapply or its fine because the marital status isn't listed on the passport itself?

I have bitter experience of having marital status single despite being married. It revealed on me that I was still single in NADRA data base when my wife went to apply for B form for my new born baby. NADRA officials told my wife, your husband's marital status would first change from single to married in order to apply for child's B form. Being In Canada I contacted the consulate of Pakistan in Vancouver for advise. They told you need to apply to get a new NICOP with modifications. It took 5 months to process my NICOP application. I applied in first week of Feb 2015 and got my NICOP in last week of June 2015. After that I was able to get B form of my baby. So, it is better to have the status married.
