jw, how far in process was ur app when u ordered notes? i applied late oct 2015...& just want some guidance.
i also have proofs of recent visit etc but havent voluntarily sent in anythin yet :/

My hubby got the text today that his passport has been dispatched with the visa and it's ready for pick up. He submitted his passport on the 25th March, 2016 at Islamabad.

Got an email today that the processed passport has been dispatched from Islamabad. Nothing about picking it up yet. Sent it on Feb. 24.

Yes, they asked for it back in October 2015. Applied in November 2014...so a very long time!

And the first time I ordered my notes was soon after I got my AOR from Islamabad (wayyyy back when they were still processing cases there lol) and I would highly suggest you sending them proofs of ongoing relationship because it lowers your chances of getting an interview request. and some people might say that it lengthens your process, it's not ENTIRELY true. I think it takes longer if they ask you for the docs, then wait one month then look at your file again and pass eligibility. Whereas if you send your proofs early, they wont have to send you additional doc request and they approve your eligibility and you save at least 2 months. But make sure you don't bombard them with TOO much info. Just send a few pics and boarding passes and copy of your ticket; just enough to show you're still together and what not.

Just my two cents; I know everyone has a different opinion and totally up to your discretion as to what you wanna do.

Alham-du-Lilah, TODAY, i checked the online status through tracking ID and the result is "Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office ISLAMABAD, on 16/03/2016 to the Canada Visa Application Centre." My VAC is Karachi.

You will get it InshaAllah soon too. Yeah, the lady on the phone said it can take up to 48 hours to get a notification for a pick up (KHI). So, waiting patiently.

Hi, mine VAC is Karachi and ur VAC is also Karachi? it means you will collect ur passport on friday last time (around 4 PM)

Congrats to those who got the sms for PP..

I paid 1320 fees. I don't know whether the sms fees are included or not, though VFSglobal(Khi) didn't ask for the sms fees to me. I didn't get and sms/email or any update on their site. Still waiting for PP collection. PP submitted on 22/02/2015; received by CHC(ISB) on 23/02/2015. Hope we get a good news by tomorrow.

Yes the sms alert fees 250 rupees is included in it...and they say that it is compulsory to pay it..whether we want or not... when I submitted my passport i asked them to have an sms service..they replied that it is already included in our total fees so dont worry...
