Yes, they asked for it back in October 2015. Applied in November 2014...so a very long time!

So after remedical they took more than four months to complete everything!!!

It's alarming, I am hoping everything goes well as my remedical is done on 7th March but till date same status and no update hopefully I will get something changed uptill Friday or may be in next week...

I would highly suggest you sending them proofs of ongoing relationship because it lowers your chances of getting an interview request. if you send your proofs early, they wont have to send you additional doc request and they approve your eligibility and you save at least 2 months.

i had the same idea & know quite a few people that did so too, but i talked an immigration consultant & she was like well, u send em proofs when they didnt ask, what if they send an email a month or two later, asking for any additional updates & ul have nothing :/
(i guess she assumes they dont receive/consider the voluntarily proofs which i highly doubt tho tbh)

or shud i be on the safe side, send in like copies of my tickets/boarding passes & a few pages of chat & paste my pictures i.e. around 30 pictures from my recent visit (that i have with so much time labelled n developped) on a word.docx & send it?
JUST IN CASE they dont review them when i sent em (highly doubt) & so i still have the original boarding passes etc with me. i sent in all original travel stuff with my app initially tho.

idk im kinda confused, i wanna apply for notes but is it too early...

Yes the sms alert fees 250 rupees is included in it...and they say that it is compulsory to pay it..whether we want or not... when I submitted my passport i asked them to have an sms service..they replied that it is already included in our total fees so dont worry...

Thanks. But I haven't got any sms/email till today. Even if I want to call vfs, the call just happen to be the info and repeat itself without anyone to attend my call... ugghhh..

This wait time is so frustrating. I mean I believe they've checked everything before asking for passport then why would it take forever to stamp visa. I know something happens for a reason but sometimes it just gets on your nerves. Hopefully everyone will get their visas soon. InshaAllah !!!

Well I believe you can not. She has to be in Canada to submitter her sponsorship file. She can have short visits, but can not apply outside Canada.

No , PR has to be in Canada to file application. Only Canadian citizens can submit spousal case and stay with their spouses as long as they want

No , PR has to be in Canada to file application. Only Canadian citizens can submit spousal case and stay with their spouses as long as they want

Please guide further... Any specific obligations ? .. Cant we even submit application from here ?

You have to submit your sponsorship application through Canadian carrier / Post; has to provide Canadian Address and Phone Contact as well.

Again, even if someone can take you application and submits in Canada through Canadian carrier / Post, sponsor has to return in Canada as early as possible; CIC will definitely ask for Sponsor's Immigration status from the Canadian Airports. Sponsor can stay 2 weeks out of Canada, but if sponsor stays out of Canada for more than two weeks then the application might be returned base on in-eligibility. Take advice.. Let the sponsor goes back to Canada and apply, that's how things go smoothly, and the sponsor has to live in Canada till the application approved; though can make short trips.

Yeah same is the case with me infact with everyone...they never send sms about our passports and visas...

Alham-du-Lilah, TODAY, i checked the online status through tracking ID and the result is "Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office ISLAMABAD, on 16/03/2016 to the Canada Visa Application Centre." My VAC is Karachi.

i submited passport on 23 feb at khi vfs,,, when did u? i dint get anythn yet
