My spouse final destination in Canada will be Edmonton but port of entry is Montreal, is it ok to land in Montreal and do the paper work then fly to Edmonton or Landing in Montreal might cause any issue?

No issue at all. You can land wherever, paperwork will be at first port of entry which in your case is montreal. After that you can go on to Edmonton

Yes you are right. The original urdu nikkah nama with all the signatures and union council stamp showing that the nikkah nama is registered, along with attested english translation.

Do not make the mistake of sending in nadra marrige certificate and its translation. It as to be the original urdu nikkah nama with translation.

I sent the Nadra translation because I didn't know and then got an email requesting the notarized True Translation, which then delayed my process. Read everything three times and make sure you are submitting everything properly!

Question for the senior members: Do I need to provide the original Urdu Nikka Nama? Because I sent a copy along with attested English translation. Thanks.

Some people have sent certified true copy of urdu nikkah nama with attested English translation without any problem.
Some have sent orginal urdu nikkah name with attested english translation. It's your discretion.
Personally, if I had to do it again - I would have sent certified true copy unless you had initially missed this document and they ask for original in a follow-up additional documents request.
They had ripped my original urdu nikkah nama when they also returned my wife's documents very late.

My medical going to expire today. What will be the next step from LVO?

It is the date the visa officer will re-visit your file. If the particular assessment is complete (i.e. background security check) they will advance to the next one and update the next due date to re-visit the file.
If your medical is about to expire, they will likely email the applicant to do a re-medical.
You cannot schedule a re-medical in advance until you get notification from CIC.

He can even land in Edmonton directly. There wont be any issue. i sponsored my husband from montreal but then i moved to BC. He landed in Vancouver and did not face any problem.

No original documents yet. DM was in late Dec 2015.

maximum up to 1 month.. i submitted on 29th of February. minimum time 10 to 12 days.

Send a case specific enquiry to LVO. If you don't get a response or unsatisfactory response in 3 weeks then make an appointment with your local MP.
Mine was able to help me; I was in the same situation.
