They require ruksati nowadays. If you are a nikah case, then chances are you will be put on hold for a very long time and interview will definitely be required. Some applicants are sent a ruksati letter from lvo, which states to complete the ruksati within a 30 day period otherwise case might be refused..not so sure about this part though.

I guess ruksati/valima as a combined event on 1 day shouldn't hurt. Just be detailed in your explanations as to why you chose to celebrate these 2 events on 1 day rather than on 2 different days, and provide as much as proof as possible (honeymoon pictures, outing pictures, etc).

salam to all today i mis to receive call fr embassy of canada in uae my passport is with embassy after interview thay take but i receive call after closeing time of embassy 1 hour closeing time and before embassy call i send a mail to embassy and ask when thay retrun my passport because i have to cancel uae visa its take 12 to 15 days and thay reply mail after 15 days not the same days i am confiused that this call is after my mail or this call is for confrermation that we are sending your passport and thay need to confrim adress again. can anyboday tell me that is embassy call before sending passport when thay take passport on interview. and is this call for some other doucoments is this possible after pass interview and also DM on ecas thay go other background cheek because i call back and embassy close time no one pick phone on reception thy call me 2 time please help me for this thanks

Now a days they issuing visa in 6-8 months if your application is complete.

Very few nikkah only applicants granted visa without interview, rest had to suffer long wait and show the rukhsati later with lot of proofs.

Complete all the events and provide them as many proofs you can to avoid delay and interview bullet.

Hi,

Mine was a Nikah only case, which we filed in October 2014. We had stated clearly in the application itself that we plan to have the Rukhsati in early 2016. They asked me to provide proof of continued relationship and plans for Rukhsati in November 2015. Upon me providing them both, they asked me to re-appear for a Medical within days of them receiving these, and about a month or so later, I had my Visa stamped along with the COPR.

Now, obviously this could be a one off, and it is probably recommended that you file the case after a number of events/ceremonies (That are part of our "culture") have been under-taken, but I guess it differs case to case too, since I hadnt had any such ceremony when the case was filed.

So in the end it boils down to how a particular case has been filed, the evidence that has been put forward for a particular course of action (In my case the Rukhsati was planned for early 2016, since my wife was still studying in Canada and would graduate by that time).

Ohh, and I wasnt asked to appear for an interview for my Nikah only case..

Again, since we had met each other and traveled with my family on a US Trip during the time the case was in process, along with a huge plethora of conversations and communications, I had solid proofs to back up our relationship.

So i guess the underlying fact still is the same.. It is up to the applicant to prove without doubt that the relationship is genuine and continued, and in a Nikah only case, it is quite hard to do so, if the circumstances are not right.. But, at the end of the day, if you do have good, solid evidences and information to satisfy the immigration officer, things can go through.. Case in point - My Scenario =)

There's no use of sending them emails again n again..i have been waitin for the PPR since dec 7th...n it's been more than 2 months...we can only wait n pray..

My officer is LJF.. We got second medical done on December 21 2015 .. Decision made on January 10.. Been waiting for PPR since then man.. I emailed London immigration twice and no response as of yet (its been more than 28 days since my emails to LVO london).. Its frustrating... Anyone have any insight? I cant wait to get the PPR so my wife can come to canada..

If you have DM, then it's definitely a positive sign! You should be getting PPR shortly, probably in 2 weeks of time, if not less congratulations!!

Have you seen any rukhsati/reception case that got visa smoothly? .. im asking for my sister..me and my husband survived the bad times back in 2012 when I applied for him..it took 2 years.
Now since I wasnt updated so I thought id ask here. I think everything is the same except for they WANT to process the cases faster. Back then, it was crazy.. our batch of people would wait for a single
good news
