Hey i got my PPR today i went to see my mp and he talked to cic on friday and got PPR i think u shud try that 2

Where is ur mp from? What district? And do u have to go talk to the. In person? Can you also email them or call them to get them involved to contact Lvo?

London Office Address

I submitted my application after Nikah on August 18, 2015. Rukhsati & Walima are done in January 2016. I have to follow up with LVO and get my file updated with the latest status by sending them following items:

1. Wedding pictures
2. Western union receipts for family support
3. Original boarding passes as an evidence that I visited pakistan.
4. Ceremony invitation card.
5. Honeymoon details.

I am confused about the address of LVO. What address should I send this information to. I will appreciate you reply on this.

Hey. I recently got married. My husband is a canadian citize and im a pakistani. I changed my status in nic from single to married. Should i have to change it in my passport also. And one more question, im doing dentistry in pakistan and my university has taken my original educational documents and wont give it back untill my study is completed. What should i do?

How the spousal sponsorship works i.e. Steps

London Visa Office Processing time is 11 Months

Dear all just for the clarity i m posting the process of Family sponsorship for understanding of all of thread members.

Phase 1: Sponsor's Approval


1. Sponsorship application submission (AT CPC-Mississauga)

2. First Email: application of sponsorship received by CPC-Mississauga (with in a week time or 10 days)

3. 2nd email: Sponsorship approval and File is sent to London Visa office for further processing (with in 1 month)
or if you are an old applicant (Islamabad Visa Office) then your file is transferred to LVO. whether you get email or not your file is in London.


Phase 2: Visa Office Stage (Principle Applicant or Spouse)



Steps: Eligibility Assessment (Relation is Genuine or not) > Re-Med if required > Back ground checks > PPR 1 > PPR2 > Visa Issued

5. Eligibility Assessment: Additional documents or Interview request from LVO to assess eligibility.(between 5-8 months is my best guess) Interview will most likely held in Islamabad but interviewer will be a person from LVO not from Islamabad (Interview is only to assess whether relationship is genuine or not).

6. background checks will be done after relationship is confirmed by Visa officer.

Passport request is Two step process as Pakistani law does not permit sending passport out of country

7. Passport request 1. PPR1 sending copies of the passport and pictures to LVO (30 days) (immediately send to LVO on given address)
after receiving your copies of passport and pictures. LVO will issue Visa and COPR issued as per your passport and send it to Islamabad

8. Passport Request 2. PPR2. Original passport and return address needs to be sent to Islamabad. (usually 30-45 days after PPR1) Send PPs through TCS visatronics

9. Visa is being pasted on Passport. VISA along with COPR is sent to your return address.

10. You are ready to land.........

With the boarding pass I would also include passport copy showing entry and exit stamp.
Also submit a lot of pictures for both you together. Don't submit negative facial expression pictures

They will ask for RPRF before DM if you haven't paid it.

I wish they accept your additional proofs and change your decision to DM and ask for passport but keep praying that they don't put you on interview queue.

I would suggest you order notes if your status does not change to DM in a week or so.

I have already ordered notes few days ago and even if they put us in interview queue that's not a bad thing but I know it will be difficult to handle...

Let see what cic is upto in met few days or weeks

I suggest sending them a copy of that document and if possible get it certified. And with it send an explanation of why you can not send the original document, give them contact information of the institute that has your original document so they can verify with that institute. Also give them your student number. I think this should not be a problem.

One should receive AOR in almost two months with margin of a week.

Hey Please Add My info To your Time Line

Medical Done Upfront : September 2015

File Submitted : 6th November 2015

Application Received : 12th November 2015

AOR Received : 7th Jan 2016

File Transferred to LVO /Approval of Sponsor : 18th Jan 2016

It depends on what docs they asked, you cannot email passport pics.
