I recently ordered notes and received them in about 2 weeks. Ordered: Nov 6th Received: Nov 24th
I applied in July this year and it was kind of disappointing as the file shows that its been put away by the London office and no processing has been done at this point.

did u informed LVO about fee paid? if yes how did you sent the receipt?

Its too early. You shouldn't be disappointed. What does the notes say which eligibility you have passed.? Did they clear your marriage or it is not started yet.?

I agree but the E-CAS "In process" status is quite deceiving. It only shows that the medical has been cleared and nothing else was started. The file is not even assigned to an officer yet and that makes me wonder because I saw few people getting their DMs who have also applied in July 2015.

I guess the key is to wait patiently at this point.

You ordered notes at a point when your file is not touched. Wait atleast 2 months I am sure you will hear something from them in that time span INSHA ALLAH.

I got married last month in Faisalabad...now I'm back in Canada...gonna apply spouse immigration.

..please I need only those points which I must follow to make file of my spouse immigration...except mentioned on cic website.

Like what is first medical...before submitting file ?
Pictures and labelling ?

I also sent about a week or two after you did. I forgot to request signature on delivery

No need to worry. At this moment just track your parcel and make sure its delivered. I got first email yesterday i.e 53 days after receipt of my file.
You will get email in 2 months.

I also found this:

On section 4, it says that the CIC does not always send AOR (acknowledgement of receipt). Thank you Acron!



I submitted an expired medical form. I kind of thought they would request one anyways, but what do you guys suggest I do? Having just sent in the application to Mississauga, should I ask my wife in Pakistan to do another medical and send in the proof of it? Or should I just wait and see what they say

I myself is new in this process so don't know much but as far as I know, you should ask your spouse to get a medical done and send to CIC so that they dd this to your file.

I hope you all get your visas soon. I am a new member of this site and for some reason, after making a few posts, this forum wasnt letting me post any replies.

Alhamdulillah, I am blessed with the following timeline:

1. Sponsoring: Wife
2. Application Recv'd Missisauga: June 4, 2015
3. Medical: Upfront
4. Transferred to london visa office: October 11th, 2015
5. Passport Request: November 4th 2015
6. Passport Sent: November 6th 2015
7. Passport recv'd: November 19th, 2015
8. Landed in Canada: November 28th, 2015

I pray you all get your visas soon and may this painful wait gets easy for you all
