Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Do we get different type of Notes/Information applied under different acts i.e. Access to Information Act vs Privacy Act

If so then under which Act shall I apply for Notes?

No worries!
Normally the 'decision made' status is positive if there aren't any documents request or any complications with the case. Negative decision is normally when not providing the requested documents, and/or after interview. Basically you would know if the decision is negative before the status changes to decision made.

You will choose the Access of Information Act. Because that is what you are doing, accessing your spouse's information for their PR application.
It will be $5 to apply.

Please excuse my lack of information about your case. I am not aware about your profile that whether you are a sponsor or sponsored person. Further, I also don't know that whether or not you are a Canadian Citizen or Resident, thus I am not able to suggest you EXACTLY which notes you should apply. I wish you have incorporated those information in the post.

As for as first part of your question is concerned, both are different and eligibility requirement for both of them also varies. As a matter of fact, if you are outside of Canada you or your spouse can not apply for notes via Privacy Act.

Kindly browse the links below:

Having said that, you (if a sponsor) or your spouse (if you are sponsored) have to apply for notes by Access to Information Act .

Hope it helps,

No additional doc requested and no re-medical :/
Oct.16 medical had expired .... no updates only originals have been returned since september

You've already ordered notes? I think they should be very helpful. Otherwise, you should send a CSE or email to LVO about why you haven't received re-med request because they should have already done that. Also have you tried to get the MP to help, the least they can do is tell you at which point your file is. I hope your case progresses ahead soon InShaAllah.
