Hello guys,
I have received passport request today. The letter states that I have to send my passport to Islamabad. My question is, should I send it by TCS or just go to VFS Karachi for submission of my passport (as I am residing in Karachi).
One more thing, can I send someone else for passport submission or I have to go myself?

Just drop it at VFS Karachi and it is better to go yourself otherwise write an authorization letter for the bearer to drop and pick your passport on your behalf.

DO NOT USE TCS!! They don't accept it someone on this forum had it sent back from the gate as guards don't accept only use VFS they will do everything smoothly, it's by Gizri in Karachi I got my passport back from there real quick and it took 15 to 20 min over there. You can send someone but honestly go yourself why risk it.

Assalam o Alikum,
I am going to apply my file end of this month, my wife is Canadian citizen, here i need some advice.
1. I got my Nikkah Nama Urdu from molvi and also from Uncion council which have one side in English and one side in URDU.
here i need your advice that i need to verify nikkah nama from Nadra, or Foreign affair office or it will be without attestation.

2. I need to change my Wife NICOP details, as before she unmarried and her NICOP stated her father name, so now she need to change to husband or it will be ok ? because someone told me she need to change to get visa free entry in Pakistan for my child in future.

3. Is i need to attached any letter from marriage hall where our function was done or receipt of that marriage hall will be ok?

4. The shopping receipts like dresses, shoes, etc should be attached with application or no need?

5. The education and job documents should be attached original or attested copy from foreign affairs of Pakistan will be fine?

6.What about honeymoon is should be in northern area or if we will go Dubai will be have good impression on immigration officer?

7. I will attached telephone, VOIP, Facebook, and whatsapp history too how many pages should be add?

1. You can submit original Nikkah Nama with attested English translation.
Or if you feel more comfortable, I know some people that have attested their copies of the Nikkah Nama and english translation at foreign affairs and have not had any issue.

2. You should verify with DG Immigration.

3. Receipt at marriage hall is fine. Don't forget to include receipt for food menu items also. And anything else related to the rukhsati.

4. I haven't included receipts for shoes. Not even my sherwani. But if you want to include do it for the major purchase like wedding dress.

5. Education and job documents - just submit originals. If you really want to submit copy then you need to have them attested.

6. Honeymoon - inside or outside of Pakistan makes no difference. Just make sure to include photos.

7. There is no defined number of pages to submit. I must admit myself I did not sent much variety. The most important to remember is to show that you have consistent communication with your spouse. In my case, I had submitted my call logs. I mostly made phone calls via skype.

If you are concerned about loosing originals, then get them attested and submit those documents.
I myself am still waiting for my documents even though my wife has been issued the visa.

You only need authorization for the pickup. Any relative can drop it off.

You can check track your application online with tracking number or else you can chat with their representative online to inquire about your application.

Alhumdulillah Yesterday we got Dm now waiting for passport request

i m in karachi pakistan and have a return flight on 2 dec
if my wife got her passport with visa before 2 dec she will go with with me

what u guys think can she get the visa before 2 dec 2015???
