Assalam o Alikum,
i hope everyone is fine. i need help from senior members.
I am going to apply my file end of this month, my wife is Canadian citizen, here i need some advice.
1. I got my Nikkah Nama Urdu from molvi and also from Uncion council which have one side in English and one side in URDU.
here i need your advice that i need to verify nikkah nama from Nadra, or Foreign affair office or it will be without attestation.

2. I need to change my Wife NICOP details, as before she unmarried and her NICOP stated her father name, so now she need to change to husband or it will be ok ? because someone told me she need to change to get visa free entry in Pakistan for my child in future.

3. Is i need to attached any latter from marriage hall where our function was done or receipt of that marriage hall will be ok?

4. The shopping receipts like dresses, shoes, etc should be attached with application or no need?

5. The education and job documents should be attached original or attested copy from foreign affairs of Pakistan will be fine?

6.What about honeymoon is should be in northern area or if we will go Dubai will be have good impression on immigration officer?

7. I will attached telephone, VOIP, Facebook, and whatsapp history too how many pages should be add?

First time on this forum.

I am also in the process of sponsoring my wife who lives in Pakistan. Can anyone tell me what are the next steps and how long it will further take to process my application.

Received by Mississauga Office: July 7, 2015
Started Process Application: August 4, 2015
Eligibility to Sponsor Approved and File sent to LVO: September 8, 2015
Medical Results Received: October 6, 2015

I have exactly the same timeline like you.
Same date and same status, once's the medical result have been received means now they are doing the background check..
Let's hope for the Best.
Kindly update if there is any changes on your status.

You need to send orginal Urdu nikah nama with English translation. You do not need to attest orginal nikah nama but you need to attest the translation by oath commissioner. Also you need to send orginal marriage certificate with registration seal on it. (which shows the marriage is registered)
You don't need to change nicop. It is optional
Reciepts from marriage hall is fine
shopping receipts for marriage dress is ok
the education and job documents should be orginal
just pick random months for your communication history to which are important
Your wife airplane ticket
Your marriage invitation card
Your passport certified copy
Wife entry/exit stamp on passport
option c for your wife
job letter from your wife
pay stubs from your wife
honeymoon can be anywhere doesn't matter
You need to send 15 pictures (nikah+celebration) 10 pictures (rukhsati) 15 pictures (walima) 15 pictures (honeymoon and visiting friends and family).

I am not sure what you mean. If the marriage certificate and nikah nama and registration stamp on it and the registration number that is fine.

what does mean by registration stamp ?
there is secretary signature and registration number written but no stamp.

anyone who has gone thru this...

how easy is it for young male spouses from PAKISTAN to come see their sponsors on visit visa here in CANADA while i have just sent the app about 2 weeks ago?
im going to visit my husband soon for a couple of months but was just wondering how easily do they give visit visas to PK citizens?
(i heard its difficult? take lots of time etc)

P.S. after sending the app, they usually ask for an update around after 6 months. where (address) do we send those updated travel records, pics etc? LVO? or CIC MISSGA?
ugh, im stil waiting for a responce! so impatient & anxious!

Hello guys,
I have received passport request today. The letter states that I have to send my passport to Islamabad. My question is, should I send it by TCS or just go to VFS Karachi for submission of my passport (as I am residing in Karachi).
One more thing, can I send someone else for passport submission or I have to go myself?

Just a reminder to please post your timelines here or private message me them so I can add you to the London outland spreadsheet (the link is in my signature).

In order to be added I need the following info. Provide the bits you do have.

-Date application received in Mississauga
-Whether you applied as Married or Common-Law
-Date of sponsor approval
-Which office is processing Phase 2 of your application (will say on your sponsor approval letter/email)
-Date the permanent residence status changed to In Process on ECAS
-Date(s) of any other requests you've had
-Whether or not the principal applicant is non-visa exempt. (Pakistani citizens are non-visa exempt)
-Decision Made date
-Date you received your visa
-Current location of the principal applicant- closest major city is fine if you don't want to be too specific!
-Date of medical exam
