Thanks. It was a mistake. Thought all dues were paid and when requested for RPRF I realised there is no receipt for this payment.

Tomorrow is my re-med. How different it is compare to previous one ?

Re-med is only X-ray and Physical, no blood or urine sampling.

By the grace of ALLAH today I received my Visa and COPR. I received my PPR on October 15th submitted on 19th was ready on the 22nd but due to Moharam I got it today. The process completed in 8 months.

Here's my timeline and it was sort of funny my PPR came before my DM Allhumdullilah.

Sent Add Documents: October 5th, 2015
Passport Req..: October 15th, 2015
Decsion Made..: October 17th, 2015 ( yes DM came after PPR lol)
VISA ISSUED...: October 26th, 2015
LANDED..........: Soon InshaAllah

My number one suggestion is read " YA MUSABIB UL ASBAB " 500 times after Isha make your dua and read durood at beginning and end

also read Dua e Quraish from the quran just a few lines read it 7 times after every prayer and you'll recieve help soon dont worry leave it on ALLAH.

I have similiar timeline as yours. What documents they asked you? When did they recieve it. On oct 13 they asked me for urdu nikah nama. London vo recieved it on oct 19. How long now. I miss my wife very much

I am 19 Feb 2015 applicant status in process from 7 September
got original doc back OK 2 Oct
Till now nothing happened do I need to order notes or send inquiry

Pls see below FYR.

Phase 1: Sponsor's Approval


1. Sponsorship application submission (AT CPC-Mississauga)

2. First Email: application of sponsorship received by CPC-Mississauga (with in a week time or 10 days)

3. 2nd email: Sponsorship approval and File is sent to London Visa office for further processing (with in 1 month)
or if you are an old applicant (Islamabad Visa Office) then your file is transferred to LVO. whether you get email or not your file is in London.


Phase 2: Visa Office Stage (Principle Applicant or Spouse)



Steps: Eligibility Assessment (Relation is Genuine or not) > Re-Med if required > Back ground checks > PPR 1 > PPR2 > Visa Issued

5. Eligibility Assessment: Additional documents or Interview request from LVO to assess eligibility.(between 5-8 months is my best guess) Interview will most likely held in Islamabad but interviewer will be a person from LVO not from Islamabad (Interview is only to assess whether relationship is genuine or not).

6. background checks will be done after relationship is confirmed by Visa officer.

Passport request is Two step process as Pakistani law does not permit sending passport out of country

7. Passport Request . PPR. Original passport and return address needs to be sent to Islamabad.

9. Visa is being pasted on Passport. VISA along with COPR is sent to your return address.

10. You are ready to land.........

They also emailed for RPRF receipt submission.

You need to have your PR card to re-enter Canada so if you leave before you have it, you would need to have someone in Canada open your mail and send it to you in Pakistan.

Current processing time for PR cards is about 6 weeks.

Processing time of PR card varies alot... it can be as low as 42 days and as high as 100 days..
So always keep that in mind when you land in Canada and have some plan of traveling ...

Also, Mailing PR card is not a good option as its a Travel document...And applying for PRTD (a travel document to re-enter Canada if you dont have your PR card or have lost it) will take atleast 2-3 months from PAKISTAN....

As Ya is haraf e nida so it gives fatah (zabar) rather than dama (paish) to izafat.

Its old Processing Brother , In new one Eligibility of Relationship and other thing (back ground checks, Medical etc .. ) tookplace all at same time , that is why processing is very fast nw a days .

on oct 13, 2015 they asked for urdu nikah nama with translation. My nikah form is in english
I also wrote a coverletter, I told them forms are from Canada and there is no urdu nikah nama.
Will it be a problem. Please help I am really worried
