@ GISGeek,

They just asked me Rukhasti pictures and copy or Urdu Nikah Nama and I replied to same email with required documents. So is it okay then??

I wonder what if someone doesnt do rukhsati from a marriage hall . There are people in our country who do rukhsati directly from home :) Do they reject such cases ?

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Aoa all, I received the original docs yesterday in my mail. The status of our case already turned DM on sept 25. Waiting for the ppr email now.

The CIC is not concerned with marriage hall Rukhsatis. They are concerned with those Rukhsati evidences such as photographs when bride and groom are together leaving the wedding venue and accompanied with their family and friends. Photos like Quran on the head of bride, or while bride and broom are sitting in the car, or cultural rituals like "dodh pilai", seeing faces in mirror together (I don't remember the exact name of the rasm, may be munh dekhai) etc.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Hi,

I am a bit new to this forum therefore, need some assistance from the seniors.

I am a Canadian immigrant, landed in Canada in July 2013, stayed there for almost 03 months and the returned back to Pakistan in October 2013 with a PR card. Since than I am living in Pakistan (from almost 2 years)....

I am planning to move completely to Canada in December this year for starting my carrier there.. I was a bachelor when I became a permanent resident, however, I got married a month ago (in August 2015)... As I am the only PR, I have to go alone and file my wife's case from the beginning...

I would here like your suggestion and guidance as, what is the fastest way to take my wife with me in Canada?? and how much approximate time it take to take my wife there?

Looking forward to your responses, please.

Regards,
Farhan.

Spousal based Sponsorship which is taking almost 10-15 months these days on an average.
You have to show the intent that you are settled there and you have means of survival in Canada.

So start your life there and make an application. Hope that everything sails well.

On PR you can apply for your wife, you have to be in Canada during the process but there is no any fastest way to migrate the whole process from LVO for straight forwarded cases is 12 to 15 months actual london office processing time is 28 months.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Hi Mercy & senior members,

My wife visited to MP couple of weeks ago and told them that we are waiting for update from LVO since May-2015 and its been 17 months since we our file transferred to LVO. The lady representing to MP office send an email to LVO on our behalf to esquire the current status of our file and get feedback from LVO that our file is in "background check". I don't know since when my file is in background check but my last correspondence was done with LVO by mid of May-2015.

Can senior members advise that how much time they will take further in background check?? Just share your idea.

Really thankful for replies. Tnx

Haven't you ordered notes yet ? It will give you an idea of where your file is.

I am also waiting to hear from them.
