*Attention 2015 applicants*

If your ecas has changed to "in process" for permanent residence application, this is a positive sign that the visa officer has opened your file.
I suspect it will take 2 to 3 months for a DM. The truth is it really depends on how many applications they are opening.
Because this is an election year, I suspect CIC are going to process are larger quantity of applications and cut down on processing times.
(9-Sep/15) If you currently notice the spreadsheet, the bottom 3 applicants that got a DM did not have to go through a re-med.
This is a positive sign that will allow them to quickly get to the 2015 applicants.
And if this is a permanent routine change, this will be a significant positive impact for future applicants as it will cut down on the processing time by 2 months!!! (from the current timeline of 11 months)
thanks

Did you get this off of some official website or is it your own prediction? I would sure hope this is true, and for the future too that applications be done in a quick manner.

If this is the scenario then applicants will get benefit. But what will if they'll revert back to their previous procedure after 9-15? With all respect i suggest lets not change our perception on 3 cases better to wait for 3 more cases get DM after 9-sep with shorter timeline.
Thanks

1) Sir, I used the keyword if.
2) There is now another two applicants in January 2015 that got a DM with the same process.
3) I have been overloaded with inquiries to my email inbox
4) There is currently no reason to suggest they would not continue this trend provided no request for additional docs are being made.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

For those that have had a remedical exam, how did it differ from the upfront medical, or did it? They still do blood tests and urine analysis?

Mostly in remedical applicant is asked for the followings:

Chest Xray (in DICOM / JPEG format) with report (in PDF)
Completed MEDICAL REPORT CHEST X-RAY REQUISITION AND REPORT form (Page 5 and 6 of IMM5419) (in PDF)
Duly completed Re-assessment Form (in PDF/word)

CIC does not publish this information.
For instance, there was a two stage passport process that had been eliminated. This was not published by CIC.
Secondly, there are no guarantees because there could be complications or additional documents required.
Thirdly, CIC has published 28 months timeline on their website. This does not mean these are current timelines.
From observation of spreadsheet and those that have had their cases completed at LVO know this.

Sir, I agree that you didn't said with certainty. It's good that another Y2015 applicant got processed earlier and I pray this may happen for all bros. and sisters who are awaiting.
I acknowledge & appreciate ur sincer intention & effort, what you wrote that is learnt by ur experience and current trend. I only meant to say that we should not be over optimistic this soon, just let the dust of election settle down then we can be in more clearer situation.
My humble opinion was not to offend but to remain more cautious.
Thanks and best regards.

As the Indian backlog had done by LVO, so they have more time to look into Pak backlog and recent files more easily, that's also a point in recent quick process. There may be many other factors too, but I have been following the same pattern, since sept 2014 files, the pak apps are getting faster than older apps. I feel that tempo would continue, its just not the elections, but may be the way people were crying all over the social media against the so called policies of immigration by the CP. So I am optimistic that our file will be done in 9-12 months than the 40-50 months long process.

Hey Guys,
My spouse application was transferred to LVO on March 23rd. A week ago, the status changed to in-process, and they added a line saying that they started processing the application in May. But today I checked and it says Decision Made, and there is no description. I haven't received any email or letter. Any suggestions on what to do at this point? I'm very surprised how they made the decision so quickly, and what's the decision. I hope it's not bad...

I would really appreciate any suggestions.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

thanks man, i checked mine today and says decision made

@ CH1Tah,

I get you. My understanding was the same but I guess thats not entirely true. I checked my status yesterday and it was "App Received" and just today it turned to "In Process".

So i guess my advice is to check any day regardless of what they tell you. What is your timeline?
