No file number yet.
Any idea how long does it take for file number? Average?

Assalam-o-aleikum,

I have two urgent questions..

1) Do I have to get attested photos for spouse in sponsoring case? and who can attest it?

2) What institute(Bank and its address) do I have to go to pay the Fees for sponsoring spouse, in Pakistan? (I live in Hyderabad, Pakistan), and in what currency?

I sent an inquiry about my wife case. And they replied awaiting review, but also "it says during review stages submit all documents when they ask for asap".

I don't understand what they are up to? Why they are not touching August 2014 onwards files? its frustrating

London does not finish work on files via a first come first serve methodology, it is different per case. Ive seen August and even September files going to DM while mine has yet to go into In Process. I would stop expecting to get preference over the date you applied, it would make your life a lot easier.

Dear all Aslamu alaikum

My wife sponsor me .
Wife Status: Canadian Citizen

My detail and timeline

Medical upfront: 1 April 2014
File apply: 6 May 2014
AOR & LVO : 31 July 4014

CSQ request: 05 Feb 2015
CSQ approved and sent 06 March 2015

Received an Email from LVO CSQ and my file updated.
My wife in Pakistan last 9 months, and also Pregnant 5 months
Now she move back Canada for delivery and now one in Canada
For take care mean no relative Can I apply for short term visa (visit)
at the time of delivery.(spousal case already applied and in process)
If possible then what documents require from Canada and from Pakistan.

Doctor said delivery in OCT first week.

Kindly advice me.

For my wife, her ecas changed to decision made on May 13, 2015, however, we have not received any email; normally how long does it takes?

ECAS extract is:

Permanent Residence
1.We received your application for permanent residence on March 31, 2014.

2.We started processing your application on March 19, 2015.

3.Medical results have been received.

4.A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

About 2 to 3 weeks before sponsor approval, you will receive Acknowledgement of Receipt that will provide your file and UCI #.
Average processing timeline for phase I sponsor approval is published on CIC website:
