I am sponsoring my husband. Do i need to submit his high school certificates too or the last transcript of engineering would be enough. if there are job gaps in my husband career will it effect the case. Please help me.

I applied through lawyer and he didn't ask me for original transcript of high school or college or university. Im sponsoring my wife.

no update from 6 Nov 2014 plz explain if someone can??

Now this clearly shows your file has transferred to LVO in the first week of November, 2014 after Sponsorship approval which is the completion of stage 1. Currently LVO is working on files moved there between June - August 2014 (their official version), so wait atleast another 2-3 months to hear something.

Hi i am wondering if some members can advice me on good immigration lawyers in mississuaga or toronto area?
I applied for my husbands case in nov 2012 and aor in dec 2012
Recieved original docs in 2013 and nothing ever since
We applied for his visit visa in feb 2015 but it got rejected
Now i am thinking to hire a good lawyer

I am a Permanent Resident in Canada and am already engaged. My fiance is in Pakistan and we are thinking of getting married in this Dec so that I can file the paper work in January.
I am a bit confused about few things and would be really thankful if u can help.

Im currently a York University Student and I'm taking OSAP for my studies, can I still sponsor my spouse?
Is there a condition that I should be on a job and have a certain amount of bank balance etc?
Also, how long will it take to sponsor him so that he can come to Canada?
I have heard that recently the laws have been changed, and thus now when he will come after suppose 2 and a half years, he will get a temporarily visa and not a Permanent Visa.. Is this true?
If he will get a temporarily visa, can he still do his MBA from Canada, pay the domestic fees, and can also receive OSAP funding for his studies?
With a temporarily visa, is he eligible to work in Canada?

I know these are a lot of questions...
But would be extremely grateful if you can help..

What will next ecase update after first i mean upfront medical recived??? Actually me and my czn applied for family visa at same time and his ecase permanent residents showing medical recived from this week and mine is same with application recived?? Someone explain plz

The next update will be "In process", once they start working on the files. Sometimes they don't update it and jump on to decision made instead.

If the PA provided email, the CIC will send DM passport request along with a bio form, otherwise they will send the same via normal post.

Expect to hear in two weeks from the DM.

Sorry your second question: Since the original file remains in CIC Mississauga, infact it is their responsibility to send it back to Sponsor. But as you know people there, either call them if you are in Canada or write them for the same.

I don't know about other nationalities but Pakistanis are specifically required to send their originals.

Answers: Yes you can sponsor your spouse, mind it OSAP is not a welfare kind of financial assistance.

No such condition, even without job and zero bank balance you can sponsor him as spouse.

As outland sponsorship case atleast a year from the filling of the case.

Never heard such kind of law. He will get COPR and a single entry visa, after landing he will become PR.

As a PR he will have same rights and privileges as you are enjoying right now. But since he will be under sponsorship agreement with you for two years meaning for next two years, you will be responsible for all his needs. He can get admission, pay local resident fee etc., but I am not sure about OSAP better check with your school and Ontario Govt.

Again as a PR he can work as soon as he lands, he will get his SIN number at entry point.
