First don't worry about the 29 months its just an average , LVO is doing the applications at the same normal rate as it was doing before.

Your situation is very unclear to reply to, please answer the following questions;

What is your time line.?
Where does it say decision made.? on Sponsorship application or Permanent resident application.?
Well I am in a same predicament as you my wife is 3 months pregnant in Pakistan and I am in Canada.

does anyone knows what's the processing time now for Pakistani spouses? It said 11 months previously but now it says 29 months.

now its 36 months for whole process....

Please don't misquote anyone and increase their frustration by telling them something which is factually not true.

The average time now a days from date of submission to getting Visa is around 14 to 16 months if everything goes well. Well means you have sent all the proofs, you have sent correct Nikkah nama etc, you doesn't get interview request.

Hi, we got married on 4th Feb 2014 and I sponsored my wife around June 2014. I don't think so she can apply family immigration by herself.

then meanwhile they asked for
4.sec med on 4 Dec 2014
5.education documents 27 Jan 2015

and when i check my application status on CIC wbsite it says
DECISION MADE on my husbands file
embassy will contact soon
please if u answer something please answer
and m trying to contact london embassy but cant get a hold on them
m really concerned if its gona take 29 months in total for processing or embassy is gonna call him soon

and thanks shahbaano i hope he soon come here ......

My goodness why do you want to contact them?? This case looks ok wait until they contact you. Its not a year until tomorrow. Why panic until you get a email or letter from CIC Immigration. Its not an obligation on Canada Immigration to approve a case its a privilege so just be patient and wait. Even if your pregnant it will never speed up your case......

What you can do is contact your Member of Parliament MP and he may look and see what is going on. But then even him/her will say its not over the waiting time so you must have more patience ...................

Are you Canadian Citizen? If you are you should know he would be part of the Canadian Government like Prime Minister and his members

Congrats! I am happy for you.
When did they have decision made for permanent residence application?
The stats published on the CIC website is based on the previous 12 months.
There was a huge backlog of files from Islamabad transferred to LVO that they mostly closed last year.
This had a huge impact on the statistics but this is not indicative of the timelines for this year.
My wife is pregnant also.

An MP is not necessarily a member of the Canadian government.
For example, there could be a liberal or ndp for a particular constituency.

You are 100% wrong an MP is a Member of Parliament of Canadian Government and An MLA is a Member of the Legislative Assembly Meaning Provincial Party Like the Ontario, New Brunswick Government.

Next your ECAS status will change to In process (probably in 30 days) and they will start doing the checks you can sit tight you might heard from them for PPR once checks are all done in around a month or two. Actually MASHA ALLAH you are one of the lucky ones from August transfer who got the remed request. May I ask what date you did your first medical.??
