Before the seniors leave this forum after getting their visa ..there are several questions which I want to know step by step ..
As most of us are waiting for our remedial ,,interview ,,PPR ..
Q 1 .. About Remedical … starting from beginning I want to know whole story .. how do cic inform us to do re medical by mail or e mail ??it will come to applicant or sponsor ?? what are the steps to do remedial ,,what we have to take there ,,procedure of registration from medical centre etc.. and the people who have gone through re medical from karachi ,,kindly tell me the whole procedure ,,the address of medical centre for cic.. I have to do everything myself,,my brother is not here to help me ,,he went to do masters from Canada..

Q 2 .. About interview .. again starting from the beginning how and to whom cic will contact to inform about interview ,, we have to inform islamabad visa office or we have to contact them or we have to confirm about our interview ?? all steps ,,requirements and questions usually asked in interview ..address of interview centre in islamabad which is most probably the visa office..
Q 3 .. about PPR .. need information about PPR 1 and PPR 2 .. how and to whom cic will ask PPR 1 and PPR 2 .. how to send ?? anything additional to be sent with PPR1 and PPR2,,PPR 1 is I think passport copy ..it should be attested or verified and from where ..plz guide me according to karachi ..

Zameer2u … I have 2 question for u
1 .. Guide the whole steps to send passport via VAC karachi ..what we have to send along with our original passport ,,fee and everything ?? and why u preferred VAC karachi to send passport ,,why not any courier service ??

2 .. Kindly tell me the steps to make birth certificate ??I want o make for my parents ,,might be possible my brother sponsor my parents in future..and as I have given No Record Certificate ,,so i think I should also make birth certificate ,,may be i need it to join some educational programme in Canada in future .. which office is responsible now to make birth certificate,,again as i have to do everything myself so kindly guide me in detail and in simple way ,,I need to know documents required ,,before birth certificate I have to prepare some other documents ?? location of office in karachi ,,contact number if u have ,,fee ,how much time required to get it prepared etc..

Now I am copying and emailing the important questions and suggestions by the forum member to my own account so in time of need I will open my emails and have a look rather search the whole forum pages ..someone also guided about how to make police clearance certificate ,,all requirements and steps ..I will search that one or someone can tell me the page number of this forum on which it is..

interview scheduled Jan 27, 2015
we start processing your application on Jan 26 2015

now the status appeared on ecas: IN PROCESS

at the end of my interview the interviewer congratulated me told me,your application is approved and said police verification may be requested in few days and within 20 days passport will be requested...

anyone on this forum can tell me how much time can be expected...???
and what will be the next step?

does anyone knows what's the processing time now for Pakistani spouses? It said 11 months previously but now it says 29 months.

I and my family's file was directly transfered to London 4 months ago and we are waiting for our medical. LVO takes 11 months only our lawyer told us that after medical it only takes 3-4 months. Think posutive guys everything will be fine And also does anyone know how much months it takes for medical?

1. LVO usually communicate with emails, so sponsor and applicant both will get a remedical email, not too sure about Islamabad! all the information you can find out at cic website thru this link:http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx
email works best to get an appointment for remedical assessment so here is the email: (CANMEDPK@iom.int) so send an email with following details:
Passport No:
Complete Name:
Date of Birth:
Contact Number:
Visa Category: SPOUSE VISA
Location/City for Screening: KARACHI/or your desired city
and attached the letter that you get from cic also with your email...
after this you will get an email back with your appointment details and list of requested documents that are you required to bring with you below is a sample:
You are scheduled for Canadian Medical assessment against date _______ at _____ at IOM sub office _________.
Required documents to bring:
1. Original passport with 2 photocopies of first two pages.
2. Five (5) recent passport size photographs (white background with light clothing colors).
3. Medical Request Letter/ Acknowledgement Letter from Canadian High Commission.
4. In sponsor ship case provide address of visa processing office.
5. Spectacles or medical history (if have any).
6. Total Fee for the above mentioned is Rs.______ it should be in cash.
7. Valid Polio Certificate
Medical procedure comprises of
• Laboratory Sampling (Blood test, Urine Test and X-rays)
• Physical examination.
General Instructions:
For Children 5 to 11 years
They have to bring the result sheet of the last annual examination.
For Elderly
Applicants have to mention about the Mobility need.
For All ages
As part of physical examination all body skin would be examined except genitalia so be prepared and wear appropriate undergarments.
For Female
It is mandatory that you inform us about menstrual cycle, as in case of your periods we will be unable to conduct your medical assessment.
Note: Do not bring any kind of luggage and unnecessary attendant with you.

3. Applicant got the ppr request in my case so sponsor get this email or not but applicant will get it for sure... all the instructions will be mentioned on the attached letter that you have to submit the passport thru VAC in your city with following documents:
Original passport of applicant and accompanying members
Filled Appendix A form (members who are getting the visa are required mention in this form)
2 photographs and write the application number and name on the back of the photographs with ink pen
copy of letter that you get in ppr email...
nothing else just go to vac and submit the fees and you are good to go fees is Rs.1550 that can change with time... Zameer has already posted the address of VAC in Karachi so you can review that post again...
