I got DM in second week of Jan 2016. Since then I've been requested to submit a passport copy along with current country of residence. Not exactly a PPR. Still waiting and hoping to get PPR soon IA.

Been 3 weeks and im starting to get a little worried.

And yes on eCAS that is a system update date, not when your status on eCAS was updated.

A Quick Question. How long does it take to get the Passport back at the Lahore VFS office?

My wife sent her Passport almost week before the previous week. The VFS people said it takes a week to 2 weeks, can anyone shed some light on how long does it actually take?

Hi Experts
My FSWP visa expiring in May 2016. I intend to fly in april. I want to know if at this time I get married, will it be possible to apply for my wife as well or my option finished and all I need to do is to sponser her after landing and settling.
There is no advantage of getting married now in terms of reducing time line which people say about 3.5 years for pakistanies to sponser their spouse. Is it really true?
Plz advise too.

You Must Inform Them ASAP. Send a scanned copy of your new Passport through Case Specific Enquiry

I am a very old member of this forum. I had a question and was hoping someone can help me out. My husband just did his remedical from Lahore and 2 weeks later, London Office asked for a copy of the passport. I am not sure why they would ask for a copy at this stage.

Has this happened with anyone else? Anyone know why?

That is about right.. The High Commission in Islamabad is sending back the passports with the visa & COPR in 2-3 Weeks now a days.. Your wife should have her passport back very soon InshaAllah! =)

Hi,

No need to worry! This is the old PPR1, the next step should be InshaAllah them asking for the passport for visa issuance.. On average it takes about a month from DM to PPR.. So you should be getting yours pretty soon InshaAllah!

Has the status on E-case changed for your husband as well? Them asking for the passport cppy is what used to be called PPR1. No need to worry, InshaAllah they shall be sending him the PPR Request for visa issuance real soon. Please ask him to send whatever they have asked for (In this case a copy of the passport) ASAP, so there isnt any delay.

If you entered Canada on a PR Visa then you are considered as a permanent Resident at arrival. The PR Card however is mailed to you in Canada within 6-8 weeks.

Is that necessary to mention all expired passport no and their photocopy while submitting application or only current valid pasport is ok?please give ur reply as i didn't mention my old passport n very much worried now .

with application current is enough but keep for ur file all passports copies, vo may ask while b g security clearing
