When do they usually send out passports back with VISA. I assume its mosty thursdays or fridays...I am still waiting on my passport. submitted on 19 January. !

HI Guys
Pls tell me your thoughts about what is the difference between Interview Required and Recommended? I Got GCMS notes a bit ago in October 2015 and in those notes I found that Visa officer with Code name JM said interview Required with few concerns.. I thought to Address those concerns and I sent CIC e-mail in dec 2015, in e-mail i sent couple of letters ,pics which i thought can address officers concerns after this I again order notes, which i got on 28 Jan 2016 . I found My Criminality is PASS , Security is NOT STARTED (with s.15(1)) on right corner, Medical PASS and Eligibility IN PROCESS .

Thats my first post i hav a question .is that possible for applicant after getting visa to visit his spouse stays for a month in canada and then come back to go again after one or two year .would permanent resident status remain valid by doing this .

in first five years you must stay in Canada two years. if you stay for two years in Canada and 3 years out of Canada your status remains valid otherwise you have to prove why you were out of Canada for long time.

your eligibility is not yet passed, until eligibility is passed they still can ask you for interview to pass your eligibility.
all other are normal and your security is started with these sections 15(1).

Congratulations, That is a good news for 2015 applicants. I hope u a quick PPR ....

Hi,

This is just the system date, and has been showing the same for a while for every applicant regardless of what the status is for the PR application. The system doesnt tell the date on which the status was changed. =)

Finally, if you got the DM in January, the PPR should be headed your way in February InshaAllah.. Mine came about 20 days after the status was changed!

For the Re-medical you just need to print out the confirmation email that you got from IOM and show up at the IOM Centre!

My bad. I though you were asking apart from what the email states.

The email that you received should have all the information about the documents that need to brought along..

Normally the following are needed to be brought along (Copied from my confirmation email) -

1. Valid Original passport along with 2 photocopies of first two pages of passport.
(If original passport is with CIC, please bring original CNIC (for adults) and Family Relationship Certificate (FRC) issued by NADRA (for children) along with two photocopies of the passport.
2. Two (2) recent passport size photographs (white background with light clothing colors).
3. Medical Request Letter/ Acknowledgement Letter from Canadian High Commission (in case of upfront medical examination no form or letter required) 4. Vision card or any previous medical history record (if have any).
