Oki. Thanks and what about CRA do we need to change our martial status if our spouse is not here with us in Canada yet.

You need to update your marital status if you were married for the year that you are filing your taxes. This will give the sponsor the benefit of having the spousal tax credit also.

AOA everyone,

Got to ask very imp thing if some one can answer or guide in this respect will be really grateful. My husband got his visa in start of nov 2015 and has already landed in Canada Alhamdulilah. But the problem is that we didn't receive our original documents back yet have no idea where they are. We have already wrote London visa office a month ago didn't get any answer from them. Called CIC mississauga they are saying they have no idea and its better to London visa office. Is there anyone else in same situation and what to do any suggestion?

Anyone who has recently landed in Canada ...can you please explain how you took your finances to Canada through which means ..I.e. Bank draft, western union, or taking cash, or transfer to bank in Canada ?
Anyone who has gone from Saudia to Canada ? And after exit does your bank account remain active in Saudia !

Unfortunately, there are many waiting since early 2015, and also many that have landed as well. Why? That's a mystery only LVO knows.

Please order notes to see what is actually going on with your application. It is very important at this point to order notes.

Hello Everyone,
I have not received any e mail from LVO. My online status is as under. Is it normal to take this much time?
Can anybody give and idea about my case? I am disappointed to see the timeline sheet because almost everyone got through who applied during this period of time. I am also afaraid, may be i could not see the e mail and it has gone to JUNK folder. (but i think if they send some letter by e mail they mention in the online status also. is it right?)

Sponsorship was approved on May 8, 2015

We received application for permanent residence on February 27, 2015.
We started processing application on May 13, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

Yes I am in the same situation eventhough they asked me for additional documents on 11th November which have already been submitted in early December but still no change on cic...

Only these three lines are on my in process tab...

Don't know it's gud or bad

This is what shows online when I check my application's status. My wife's second medical didn't go well and she had to give sputum tests and reports for those tests came negative around December 20th aND her medical was cleared January 21st 2016. And then I checked the status on January 23 and it said decision made so I thought probably it was made after medical clearance but then I just found out today that the london immigration office sent me 2 registered letters under my and my wifes name and since I didn't check the mail on time those letter were sent back January 21st. Now I wrote an email to London visa office and I don't know how long they wI'll take to Rey back but I'm panicked coz it's been over 2 years and I don't know what decision they have made before medical clearance or passport request. Does it mean that the application is refused? Someone told me they just post a regular letter not registered mail if it is refused but I'm going crazy after finding all this out. Did it happen to anyone else here?

Please help me if you know anything or went through something like this.
