Hello Everyone,
I have not received any e mail from LVO. My online status is as under. Is it normal to take this much time?
Can anybody give and idea about my case? I am disappointed to see the timeline sheet because almost everyone got through who applied during this period of time. I am also afaraid, may be i could not see the e mail and it has gone to JUNK folder. (but i think if they send some letter by e mail they mention in the online status also. is it right?)

Sponsorship was approved on May 8, 2015

We received application for permanent residence on February 27, 2015.
We started processing application on May 13, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

Unfortunately, there are many waiting since early 2015, and also many that have landed as well. Why? That's a mystery only LVO knows.

Please order notes to see what is actually going on with your application. It is very important at this point to order notes.

This is all not true. I did not change status on CNIC nor the passport, neither did my husband. The proof they need is Urdu NikahNama and its translation. Thats all...
In Canada, your Notice of Assesment of the tax paid, or the Option C printout, needs to have your marital status as married, that too is not required as that document is for the previous tax year and one may not have been married at the time. There is no authority in Ontario that needs to have status changed as Married. I called a lot of places, including Service Ontario to ask how I could change my status and they all told me it is not required. Only the CRA needs the status change.

Comments required from Mercy24 , Sulemanmirza and Canvis 2006 regarding this question whether to update marital status on CNIC and Passport of Applicant or not..

A couple of questions.
Appendix A form will need only principle applicants information(as she is the only one traveling)
What's the address for vfs Lahore ??
As far as I understand they asked for 2 pics(anyone knows specifications plz?)
& a copy of the letter they sent, passport original one & appendix form A.
Ya well plus the fee whatever it will be.
Any help much appreciated!!

Appendix A is only filled by Applicant and/or dependant children.
Fee is around Rs. 1500

It may delay issuance of renewal of documents. It is always a good thing to keep things updated.

On anther note, auto insurance rates go down a lot when you change status from single to married.

Yes my wife submit her passport at VFS LAHORE

It's walk in no appointment needed.
You will need passport+ PPR copy Appendix A filled out . You can have your picture's taken at VFS LAHORE
Total cost was 1745 Rupees

My wife changed her last name so she went to update her marital status also on her CNIC.
I don't know if it's a requirement but I wanted everything to look legitimate to CIC.
I would ask if anybody on the thread has not updated the marital status on the CNIC and if they had any problems with CIC.

I am just taking a guess, I don't think its a requirement to update your CNIC for the application.
There was talk about this in the thread in the past.
