It means they are working on 1 week files only from 2019. If that is the speed. We maybe on Mars when IRCC will touch our 2020 files.
just in time for Mars VO opening! It means they are working on 1 week files only from 2019. If that is the speed. We maybe on Mars when IRCC will touch our 2020 files.
Yes its true.Hello guys.
I have some questions regarding my application before I submit it. (sponsoring my wife)
I am Canadian PR holder and moved here in Jan 2021. (completed my soft landing in 2018, but finally moved in Jan 2021)
I got my Nikkah done in Oct 2020. (in court as per the rules of UAE)
Our nikkah was done in Dubai as both me and my wife resided in Dubai.
Due to the pandemic, we were only able to do one function (reception) with limited guests. (we have photos as well)
She continued living with her family and I continued living with my family as I had already planned to move to Canada in Jan (3 months from Oct).
Before our nikkah and after our nikkah we met regularly and have photos/whatsapp chats to prove it as well.
I read in a lot of places that if rukhsati is not done then the immigration officer might reject the application as it does not meet the requirements.
is it true?
any advice will be greatly appreciated
thanks for the reply man. the reason we did not do it is because rukhsati is considered to be an event after which the husband and wife start living together for good. and if the girl goes back to living with her parents after rukhsati, it is something frowned upon. also additionally as I was coming here just 3 months after my nikkah, there was no point of rukhsati.Yes its true.
'Rukhsati' is required, do it.
So, in simple words, they are trying to say don't bother us, if you applied after these dates. But the question is how they processed the applicants who applied after us, We all have seen number of Sept to Dec 2019 applicants, who got PPRs, and COPRs. Now they are dragging us for further 03 to 04 months. This is ridiculous.
If Click on the blue button, where they saying this one week of may 2019 crap.We all have seen number of Sept to Dec 2019 applicants, who got PPRs, and COPRs
U must show u r living together after getting married.thanks for the reply man. the reason we did not do it is because rukhsati is considered to be an event after which the husband and wife start living together for good. and if the girl goes back to living with her parents after rukhsati, it is something frowned upon. also additionally as I was coming here just 3 months after my nikkah, there was no point of rukhsati.
however, we held a small reception and invited limited guests if that serves the purpose.
are there any instances in which nikkah and a reception has sufficed the requirements as it is common in pakistan that nikkah is done initially and rukhsati etc is done later on and the time in between, people apply for the spousal sponsorship
they will find it fishywe were only able to do one function (reception) with limited guests
LOL Imagine how messed up that is that we have to explain everything in detail and treated with skepticism even if we slightly deviate from cultural norms because of whatever someones personal circumstances would have been. I do agree with you and this warrants attaching a note saying why certain things were done slightly different than how they would normally be done.they will find it fishy
u manage to do reception but wasnt able to get the bride to ur home
they know our religion
our culture, events
they know reception is done following rukhsati
