actually I attached several PDF files less then 5MB in an email but overall size near to 18MB.

Calculate how much they add upto you can find a MB calculator online thats what i used to see how it is

Documents sent as attachments cannot exceed 5 MB in size. Any attachment larger than 5MB must be divided into smaller separate attachments.

No this means you can either send one big file thats less than 5MB or several files that that in total will be less than 5MB

So you can not send 1 file thats 4 MB and 1 2MB because it will equal to 6 MB. So it has to be in all equal to 5MB
