This is so frustrating. Submitted pp fr visa on may 19. its been 50 days and did not get pp back yet. They did not give tracking number either. Another eid without wife. :'( :'( :'(

Sometimes it gets frustrating. I submitted my passport for visa stamping to manila office on 8 June. But by 2 july I didn't hear anything so i sent them an email to expedite my process as i am coming to pakistan from Korea on 18th and within three days of that email, i got my passport back witj visa and copr. Above all that, visa issuance date is stated as 2 july, the same day that i sent the mail. Maybe a coincidence, maybe not. Maybe my email sped up the process. Maybe send an email to Islamabad office to get an update. But I don't know how cooperative ppl in isb are. Worth a shot though.

Hi dear forum members i have a question regarding the ." Sponsorship questionnaire IMM 5540E question number 8, Have u resided country other than Canada?
I visited Middle East a few times but my stay was not exceeded from 10 days, and once to turkey there i stayed for 25 days , and Pakistan i was born and lived there till Nov 2013, so my question should i fill this section or leave it, because i just went there for visits .
and also question 10: are you yourself sponsored to canada??? whats the answer yes or no, because i came to canada as Federal Skilled worker not on any sponsorship????
i checked the guidance notes but they didn't explain it,,
please somebody share ur experience,,,,,

For visiting a country I did not list it in the form.
I did not consider this as part of residency if you are just visiting a country.
I did not have any problem, got my sponsor approval.

You are not sponsored to Canada, you came in thru a different program, not from sponsorship. Answer is no.

NOW, all these test he has to tell physican right,, I mean he dsnt have to worry abt anything and just take the form and show them and they will know right? it also says in email to send the report to india..is that normal?
and medical has to be done in Lahore right? at IOM MHAC, 70H GULBERG III?

ANY TIPS WILL BE GREATLY APPRICIATED...thanksss

chest x-ray(dicom/jpeg) format with report in pdf

This is pretty much standard re-medical request......Just follow the instructions in the email, print off the requested documents, get your 2 snapshots (mostly they only take 1/2 pics from the applicant but you may keep up to 4 pics with you) and book your appointment with IOM (any location near you).

And yes they always ask to send your medical results to New Delhi….. IOM knows where to send the results.

Still no update from LVO..!!

My status is still in-process since Feb-2015. My medical results were submitted by 7-Mar-2015 and then they requested for additional documents on 2-May-2015 which were send by email on 9-May-2015 also send thru courier which were received at LVO on 12-May-2015 since then nothing update from LVO. My timeline is as below.

Here is my timeline.
My wife is Canadian Permanent Resident.
Application received in Mississauga: 21-March-2014
After sponsor ship approval, file transfer to LVO directly: 26-April-2014
I didn't do upfront medical.
Received Medical request: 11-Feb-2015
Status changed to "in-process": 13-Feb-2015
Medical done: 24-Feb-2015
Status update "Medical results received": 7-Mar-2015
Request for re-submission of few forms: 2-May-2015

2ndly send case specific inquiry & consult some other members who got quick response from LVO about how to send inquiry.

I have been told by my lawyer that we should not order notes. As ordering notes will create doubt.
is that correct??

For Appointment:
email CANMEDPK@iom.int (without spaces) with your official medical request email you got from DelhiMEdical also write applicant's name, DOB, passport No, Contact, Visa Category and location (Lahore) and add a few lines that you got remedical request from Delhi medical and looking for an appointment as soon as possible.

They will reply within 2 to 3 days with appointment information.

AOA,

I am Aug 2014 applicant. SA done in Oct 2014.
Received new police clearance certificate request on 27 May 2015 and re-medical request on 28 May 2015.
Got my re-medical done on June, 09 2015.
My Ecas status says application received. we applied notes on 19 June 2015 but still no reply from LVO.

I have not heard anything since my re-medical.

I want to ask few things; my wife has visited Canada twice during the case. she and my baby (born Canadian) have come back again last month from Canada.

A) I was wondering if it is wise to send LVO the details of their current Pakistani visit considering the current trend for interview requests?
B) I have no idea where my original documents are? should I ask LVO for my original documents?
C) Any other information thats worth sharing with LVO?
