Thanks , would you tell me please , when did you apply your case and ,since when you are waiting for interview ? Did you get date already?

I am in same situation. I do not understand why they do not go by "app filed" date.

I have seen September cases started getting PR now. We from April do not have slightest idea of where our file at.

This is NOT fair at all.

landed in canada but on airport they never ask for anything. even though i show them permenent resident paper and quebec selection but she refused to take and said you can exit now .
strange situation anybody have any idea

did you at least enter Canada??????????????

According to the website, it is 29 months for LVO. However, average time is now 11-12 months from Sponsor Approval to PR Decision.

Are you talking about undertaking length on the notes.? Please let us know where you read this term, it will be easier to define it then. Also is there any update to your case.?

Please be advised that this application awaits the organisation of an interview in Pakistan. This interview will take place during an area trip by an Immigration Officer based in London. "
Check with them now a days they getting found of interviews once again.

I got the same reply in June as well. Now waiting since early June.
They HAVE to go by the date applied.

What is your timeline.??

I would recommend not to just sent your precious original documents without LVO asking for them, I have a bad experience with them regarding handling of mails, so I would say wait for LVO to ask if required, but with the above docs you sent already I think they will only ask for Original Nikkah Nama from you when your case gets into processing. I don't think they will ask for original educational documents, Your time line can give us a better understanding of the status of your case.

If I were at your place I would have just sent the original Nikkah Nama & original Nadra Marriage registration separately and would wait for them to ask for original educational documents.

I guess it's just safe to wait for them to ask then? Does that create a significant delay? what is the best time to order the notes? 4 months after SA you think? thanks for all your help

Sister my case is June 2014 too. I got Re-medical request in March 2015 and now waiting for Passport Request. I advise you to send
hope they will reply inshallah.

I ordered my first notes in December and there was not a single change in them, it really depends on your medical when it is near or gets expired that is the time you hear something from them. From my experience on this forum I have seen many people even in their 7th or 8th month getting a response from LVO and gets asked about the original Nikkah Nama, but after that there is again a frustrating wait for 3 to 4 months...!!before their case go in process. Client detail 1 information which was applicant information one option is sponsership lenght(months) that was 36 months I m confused what is this????

1. Ask your husband to Order the GCMS (case notes). It takes a month.
2. Read the notes, particularly the last comments section where officers write notes on case.
3. Send them additional proof of ongoing communications, cohabilitation, visits, sending gifts/etc and/or anything else such as time spent together, photos, etc

Do number 3 ASAP, it may help you get out of the interview queue and into general processing....(if not already done so)

1. Check your passport as well as COPR. In your passport the IM-1 Visa should be cancelled and a stamp of CBSA should be on adjacent page, and under it "I" should be written, as well as the COPR Number (which starts with a Txxxxxxxxxx)

2. You were issued 2 of COPR papers, both should be taken by CBSA (immigration), and you should have a copy of 1 of them (without photo), but there should be a CBSA stamp on it indicating date of entry to Canada.

IF this did not happen, go back to the airport, and contact Customs/CBSA, and get it done (and tell them that officer just said you can exit now).

DO THIS ASAP.......

Oh feel sorry for the file for going in interview queue, they have started the trend again to send files to interview without asking for additional proofs.

Sponsorship length is the length of the Undertaking document signed by your sponsor. That have nothing to do with your case. Trust me.

What was the reason of sending your file to interview.? VO should have mentioned it in the notes .?

Can you please let us know how to send these additional proofs and to what location / email ? I am the sponsor. Should i be sending these ?

sponsorship length is a term related to undertaking, which is generally 3 yrs, that the sponsor is responsible for spouse.
In the 3 yrs time the sponsored spouse cannot go on welfare (because sponsor is responsible).

You don't need to worry about this, it applies in cases where relationship/marriage ends after arrival in Canada. Means sponsor is responsible and will have to pay if the spouse goes on welfare in case marriage/relation breaks apart and the sponsored person goes and claims welfare....
The social services will charge the sponsor to get back the money paid out
