this is ridiculous. can you log into MyCIC and check your background check status? they don't always send notifications instantly...

processing times have gone to 24 months. I wonder if this applies to people who've applied before, or if its current.

That shouldn't concern us as our files are apparently being worked on. Also doesn't explain all the 2016 applicants who are receiving PPRs/COPRs.

pejafor3, the average is skewed due to islamabad transferring their aged caseload to london back in 2013. as landing_pr said, it does not apply.

landing_pr, perhaps it's time to follow up with your MP and ask for confirmation on whether LVO has recieved your docs? and maybe order a new set of notes?

I had already talked to my MP last week asking to confirm if my documents were received as I don't want to miss the 30 day mark indicated in our PFL. She confirmed and said to follow up in 2 months.

It's so illogical. I don't know what to say or do at this point

Also: I've ordered new notes last week as well.

I had already talked to my MP last week asking to confirm if my documents were received as I don't want to miss the 30 day mark indicated in our PFL. She confirmed and said to follow up in 2 months.

You know you have done everything. Send them the documents, confirmed they have reached. Think you need to take a break from the forum its just going to make you more depressed take a break of 3-4 days.

My MP cant tell even that documents have been received yet or not... So i am just assuming they have recieved my email and attached docs to my file.. firstly i sent docs by mail and email both but 2nd time they said you can just scan and email it... and i did same... lets see what happens.. my 30 days deadline end today..

You know you have done everything. Send them the documents, confirmed they have reached. Think you need to take a break from the forum its just going to make you more depressed take a break of 3-4 days.

So i am just assuming they have recieved my email and attached docs to my file.. firstly i sent docs by mail and email both but 2nd time they said you can just scan and email it... and i did same... lets see what happens.. my 30 days deadline end today..

Fortunately, my MP was good in that sense. She told me to send her the documents so that she can make sure that the Internal officer can place them in the file. However, I made sure to FedEx the documents too as the letter states to respond with the documents to the London office.

My 30 day deadline ended today as well. If you notice on the letter, it says respond within 30 days so then should really get on it and not wait for 30 day mark.

Yes you r right... my first doc request was via letter attached.. but 2nd doc request was just in email text body so they themselves demanded from me scanned copy.. i hope i did rite thing??
