Any idea how long can they extend the medicals, since i got decision made but no remedicals.. Medicals expired 15 sept. Thanks

They are able to extend it for 1 - 2 months (maybe more).

They do it without notification, I believe. Check with your MP to see what they can find out for you. MPs can talk to the officer and look into any notes or updates and let you know within few days.

My friend had appointment in UK for UK's Indefinite Visa which is PR of UK and he got it in 1 hour 15 minutes

I have observed on this group that many spouses pay visits to the PA while the case is being processed... to what extent do these visits strengthen the case? What if a sponsor isnot able to visit the PA due to work constraints or financial constraints until about a year of nikkah/marriage? Does that negatively affect the case? For example im pretty sure my husband wont be able to make it till mid 2017 (a year into our marriage).

Also, im planning to apply for a US visit visa...my only cocern is that IF God forbid im rejected, will that data become a barrier for my CIC case since countries often share information between one another.. Also will i have to inform the CIC that my US visa has been accepted OR rejected in such a case? Im totally confused right now as to whether i shud apply for US visa or not. :-\

Jan 2016 applicants are also starting to receive DMs. Contact your MP ASAP. Don't wait for another day. Order your notes to see what's the hold-up.

Send them proof once your hubby leaves for Canada. This way you can provide proof of pictures, boarding passes and exit/entry stamps.

It doesn't negatively affect it, but it does give you bonus points if you visit. The last thing you'd want is an officer wondering why they never visited.

USA sometimes rejects the visa without even seeing the documents. Rejected my sister's visa without even seeing her file and same thing happened to my friend's father.
