Congrats on the ppr...whats the process on how the visa gets stamped. Do you need to go to embassy in the UAE?

Make dua we are next so far you and landing pr are our timeline twins. Lol

We didn't receive any email for AOR2 (when application must've received at LVO). However the only confirmation after SA was seen on ECAS with this line added (for Principal applicant):

We started processing your application on September 8, 2016.

Spreadsheet admins, please update my In-Process on ECAS date. Thanks.

Appreciate all the well wishes and the thoughts to make me feel a bit at ease, guys. I still feel that I'm on pins and needles. Especially to see Jan 2016 applicants receiving PPRs/DMs makes me anxious. I'm happy for all and happy to see progress but would be relieved if they sent me a confirmation/PPR/DM heck even Doc Request at this point :'(

what's your background check status on MyCIC?

i think for you and Landing_PR, they might have already begun reviewing your file and have determined that they don't need to send out any doc requests. if i'm right, then your background checks should go into progress as soon as they're done with eligibility.

A friend of mine just got PPR today! Jan 12th, 2016 applicant! They didn't even ask for additional documents.

The letter from CIC states that they must submit the passport within 30 days.

Here's his 'dilemma' (if we can call it that): he's supposed to be going on a vacation with his wife to Malaysia in 2 week's time, with the tickets/hotels already booked. Is it wise to request CIC for an extension on the 30 days, or should he cancel his vacation plans to send the passport off? His main concern is that the Police Certificate was supposed to be expiring at the end of this month. If he requests CIC for an extension, then they may open that can of worms. I tend to think that with the decision already made, it's already sealed and only a Medical expiry stands in the way.

Landing_PR: If it's any relief, this person had 2 TRV refusals since they got married. And yet he flew straight to a PPR!

After just showing up to my MP's office and demanding answers, I was told that my file is waiting in queue to be assigned to an officer in LVO :'(

I mean could someone just take my file!? Is it too much to ask to review my teeny, weeny, little file? :-\

I am also waiting in the queue i guess..some very negative kind of thoughts and feelings surround me all the time when i viist this forum but then i try not to think negative..keep faith in ALLAH he knows the best.and will do the best for you..

It seemed they forgot to reopen my file after putting in queue .4 months are passed n file is still in queue no movement at all .i hav sent them case specfc enquiry n mail too but no reply .All other oct ,nov applicants evn dec to are getting remed request but nothing for me .so plz gimme any suggestion what should i do either send them case specific enquiry once again or wait a month more .one thing more my hubby is coming pk should i send them proof of this visit or not at this stage .

Jan 2016 applicants are also starting to receive DMs. Contact your MP ASAP. Don't wait for another day. Order your notes to see what's the hold-up.

Send them proof once your hubby leaves for Canada. This way you can provide proof of pictures, boarding passes and exit/entry stamps.
