Second thing, I am applying for GMCS notes

There are few questions for which I want to confirm about options

1: *What type of record would you like to request?
I would say " Family class, spouse or common law partner in Canada class or Refugee Sponsorship"
or I should mention " Permanent Residence"

2: Specify the type of file you are requesting:
I would say " Immigration file ( i.e information that belong to sponsored person(s))

3: *Which specific information are you looking for?
The electronic notes of immigration or citizenship officer(s))

Can you please help me above questions and answers ?

hafeez did not get a doc request. what they usually do after a doc request (but not always) is put the file away for the extent of the deadline they've given the applicant. the only exception is when they have the needed documents to continue working on other assessments. for example, if they need additional documents to assess eligibility but they have everything they need for background/security checks, then they'll send out the doc request and continue working on the background/security checks in the mean time.

since july 1st, i've seen 7 DMs from LVO: 6 of them were for october applicants and 1 was for a november applicant, so they haven't been sleeping . i'm praying they begin working on my wife's file this month insha allah...

that's not the same as a doc request. medicals do not require much work on the visa officer's part. also, he didn't lose much time because of the remed as his wife was able to get an appointment fairly quickly.

doc requests, bleh. they delay us all .

i don't know about tomorrow but we'll def see something in the week of august 21st insha allah. i just can't wait for them to start working on my wife's file. at least then i'll know i'm finally approaching the end.

We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on April 20, 2016.
We started processing your application on April 19, 2016.


We received .............. application for permanent residence on March 23, 2016
We started processing ................. application on August 2, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

SPONSOR APPROVAL is 22 june 2016 and file transferred to LVO.

I HAVE TWO QUESTIONS. AS PER INFORMATION "START PROCESSING ON PERMANENT RESIDENCE APPLICATION ON AUGUST 2, 2016" FROM THIS DATE how MUCH TIME I SHOULD EXPECT TO GET ANY RESPONSE ON MY APPLICATION.
SECONDLY, I TRIED MANY TIMES VIA GCKEY TO LINK MY APPLICATION BUT NOT SUCCEEDED TILL YET. WHAT WILL BE THE REASON. PLS GUIDE ME WITH YOUR HONEST OPINION REGARDING THESE TWO QUESTIONS.

i'm guessing based on past trends. i see that for the vast majority of cases, there was always DM or PPR about 45 to 50 days (sometimes 60) after the doc request. there'll be exceptions though if the case isn't straightforward or involves lengthy background checks. currently 40 days have elapsed since the first doc request for november.

they seem to open up files in batches, so your file might be reviewed at the same time as mine even though you submitted a week after me. just take a look at the doc request dates vs submission dates for the november group and you'll see what i mean.

Because i guess they dont require police re check


Also from our spreedsheet the ones who got a re med request, they haven't updated when they have whether completed the re assessment or not

heyHRK I am applicant from 20th Nov 2015 but stil no doc reqst no dm and my upfront madical was expire on 29th June plz tel me how much more time ??

U mean ur upfront medical has been expired??
If so did u try sending them a case specific inquiry telling them ur medical expired
Because they are processing nov applicants atm
Can u tell me your file transfer date
