What does it mean when your ECAS status has changed to in process and when you click it, it says medical tests have been received along with the older things they posted.

Do you mind kindly sharing your timeline?
If you see the status change to "in process" it means that a visa officer has opened your file for assessment. They will start with eligibility.
Also, the VO has updated the file with you medical assessment.

Is sponsor Canadian Citizen or PR?
Sponsoring husband or wife?

Yes, possibly if no issues. Best to monitor spreadsheet every week to see progress.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office v2.0

@ian-ali

Fastest time for a DM that I have ever seen for a Pakistani applicant.
What did you send for personal communications (call, logs, skype, emails, facebook, viber, etc.) ?
Please explain.
Did you send any affidavits?

Hi

I did the application myself and I sent in a complete application. I did include phone bills, western union receipts cuz I send money, and viber log.
I also sent in my Nikkah Nama both in English and Urdu version both attested by a lawyer in Pakistan and then CIC sent it to a lawyer here in Toronto as well. I also attached the receipts of gifts that I purchased for my wife, my wife's passport photocopy and mine as well and I also sent in about 130 pictures as well.

I've been reading another forum and I hear that a lot of people didn't send in a complete package and now cic/lvo is asking for more document.

Thank you for your dedication to this forum and all the help you provide.

Hello Abu_zaid

That's perfect but I noticed that you paid only half the fee. When I submitted my application I paid the full fee of about $1040. I spoke to a representative from CIC before sending my application and he recommended that I pay full fee to expedite the process. See, if you pay half up front and half later, that takes time and CIC and LVO will take at least 1 month to update the status and notify you.

FYI to everyone: Please pay full fee and submitted full application to avoid delays. I have been reading a lot of posts and I noticed that people are either asked for additional forms that they didn't submit, fees not paid in full, and etc. Follow the check list and always show your application to least 1 or 2 other person for proof reading, which I did in my case.

I pray to Allah SWT that everyone's file is process as fast as possible. Ameen.
