Hi zee7447,

IS this speedtrack only for Singapore visa office files or even NDVO?

Hey Priya
This is for all the visa office around the world. However it applies to Singapore most, because they are the slowest and has the most back log. I really don't blame them because they have 5 different countries under them. The previous PM was against immigration and that's why they slowed the process on purposely. Ever since new PM came they started giving pressure and that's why you can see the the time frame was changed from 30 months to 17 months and that applies to anywhere in the world. Before it was based on region and country. My advice is even though 17 months is not passed keep emailing them and bother them. Lots of people are scared to do that. Remember their job is to serve us and answer our questions. Thanks

Thanks Zaheed for the response!! But its so crazy...I had requested the GCMS notes and it says recommended interview and the date on the notes made is that of January 04, 2016 and it is now 3+ months and we haven't even received any communication from the immigration office that we are required to come in for an interview. Which is why I am asking everyone how long does it take to just get the interview letter from the time that they decide an interview is required. Would they send a letter and interview you before the 17 months is up?? And give you a visa to enter the country before the 17 months is up as well? Or will they just send a letter before 17 months and the process can keep going longer?

Dear,
Friends

I had my interview today apologize for not sharing my interview date i had my personal issues with that
My interview was hardly 15 minutes it was a cake walk
I had to wait inside like 1 and half hour further to my interview schedule since the other interviews were taking to long , i didnt take any interpretor i was all alone

Below is my experience and also the do's and dont's

Questions asked
How you know your wife
How your relation developed why you married her
Where does my wife work and what is her job description
What would i do in canada
Why my mother and family didnt attend my wedding
Asked me to show pics of my wife and my mother together in other visits
Why i travelled to Canada in 2015
Why i withdraw my PR application which was approved in 2010

In the end she said submit your passport i refused since i have to leave India due to job obligations i told the lady officer please send me a passport request she agreed to it.

Do's
Take enough rest day before the interview reach half and hour before interview
Do not panic be courteous and most important of all be polite.
Listen to the questions do not interupt take your time and answer
Say thank you please pardon me whenever needed
Stay positive

Dont's
Do not answer more than what is asked because officer is judging you through you answers
Dont change your answers to what you mentioned in your application when you filed
Dont keep your proofs unorganised tag them properly
Dont take it lightly things can get tuff if you cant put forward a strong reply to your red flags

Lastly,i would suggest every interview applicant has some red flags in his case please read your notes carefully and prepare according to that i thank each and every one who has helped me in here hoping for a speedy visa process for all of yiu so you all can unite with your loved ones, always here to help others at my best.

Good Luck

Hello Jaytanz,

Congratulation. I see in your profile your visa office is New Delhi. If you Share your experience New Delhi 2014 section it will help many New Delhi applicant who is pending for interview. Your interview is really very smooth and easy. Most of the people are very nervous about their interview. Many people do not know how they face or what they say when they face their interview. So if you share your experience in New Delhi section the people who are pending for interview they feel relax. I appreciate your this this wat you write in your experience like-------------

Dear Priya,

The 17 months is average of 80% cases. Its merely a guideline. And in the interview letter it states that interview applicants fall outside the regular timeframe. So these guys can make it much longer. Just stay positive and prepare for the interview with your spouse. There is nothing you can do beside praying to Almighty. I applied in August 2013, got the interview letter in May 2014 from Singapore. Got interview on March 2016 and so on. Plz dont feel dejected. 2015 applicants are in better spot than 2013 and/or 2014.

Dear Rumu,

This is the template you can use to inquire your file's whereabouts at Singapore. Please do change it accordingly. You can ask on your husband's behalf too.

Hope it works...
