DECISION MADE:

(A decision has been made at this point.)


1. Medical Results Received by CIC
We have received your medical results. We will contact you only if additional tests are needed.


2. Approval Status Determined
your application will be either approved or rejected. We will inform you of the decision in writing.


3. Permanent Residence Status Determined
If your application is approved, we will send you your permanent resident documentation and a letter saying what we need to finalize your permanent residence.

Hope it will help you. I want to ask you one Question- “Do you send any email Singapore?”

Singapore send me re-medical email 19 April 2016 and I did my re-medical last Thursday and they send my medical report this week Saturday. My status is still in process. May be it will change soon like Sam.

its only 9 month, i receive letter for interview from CIC on 28 july 2015 its only 9 months pass , my family went back to Canada last month,
and now i am preparing to send evidence (PHOTO , TICKET , Boarding pass )proof of my family visit me in bangkok , to CIC signapore this coming week next month my daughter birth day is coming i was in canada on her first birth day and celebrat my baby 1st birth day in good restaurent .
in september me and my family gonna meet in japan , holidays together in Tokyo let see what happen , i am happy for you and goods luck , and hope fully you gonna have good life in Canada , inshallah, i have Good job here in Bangkok ,so i can afford that my family can visit me twice a year here in bangkok , Thanks to Allah for his kindness .

Dear Sjgolfer014,

Good to hear that you can spend quality time with your family. Hope they update your case file and waive your interview cause it doesn't make sense to justify the genuinity of your marriage if you are spending that much time with your family frequently. What a waste of time and money for everyone.

We are at the edge of our patients limit it's going to be 3 months in 5 days no news yet. I went to my local MP to do an inquiry but didn't get any reply yet and my lawyer is an .... Only knows money every email or phn call to him charge me 300$ for each. Allah knows what's in my fate.

Hello Priya,

My first question to you when you applied for you husband? Where your application file transfer? Is it Singapore or other country or New Zealand? Now a day the interview waiting time 17 months. But some people get their interview in 11 months. Its depends on visa office. One more thing if your application file transfers in Singapore your husband will need to face his interview Dhaka Canadian High commission.

Anyone applied on March 2015 or after goes for fast track process. For an example My application was submitted in March 2015 and my wife received letter stating she is on interview list on June 2015. She got an interview date on May 2016 (11 months). Her friend also applied to come to Canada and applied in June 2014 and received a letter stating she is on interview list on October 2014 and still didn't receive any date yet. I got this information from immigration office directly. I know 2 people who works in Immigration office and 1 person who is retired immigration officer who used to work at Singapore Office. People who applied in 2014 and before are back logged. They need to keep emailing Singapore office to get updates. The CIC website says 17 months now. Each day if the officers pulls out 200 files, then out of 200 180 is new files and probably 20 is old files like from 2014 and before. If those applicant email the Singapore office they actually pull that file to check. I was told its highly recommended to email them and it will help those people to get an interview date soon. I work for Federal Government of Canada. I have some sources in CIC . I decided to share this with everyone and I hope this will be helpful.

Thank you sharing your valuable experience. Yes I agree what you write in. To write them ( Any visa office) email is a very good point. For my case it helps me. When my application passed 17 month I wrote them email and next month they send me interview email.
