Did you receive the instruction and blue buttons to upload the documents in your CIC account? If so, how long did it take? I have been waiting for about 2 weeks now, and nothing!!!

nope i haven't received a message to my CIC account and i already gave them a call and i sent them technical issue through IRCC webform.
i dont know how long it gonna take for them to resend the requested documents.

I was really lucky to find out the info from you about the technical issues with CIC account.They sent me correspondence on 23 March and I haven't received any requests to my account.Only 10 days left grrr..I sent the IRCC web form today and have been trying to call them since morning but failed..all agents are busy,call later.Can someone help me with the phone number,is it 1-888-242-2100 IRCC contact?Or other?Thank you

just a heads up here.... they generally do not resend any messages or mailings. you might want to verify what the message was, and try to resolve their request without the letter.

Has anyone received correspondenceon their OWP? Do they send any email or correspondence in regards to the OWP? or do we just wait until we have the OWP in hand?

When my wife's came a little less than a year ago, we had nothing. Just magically grew out of the mailbox one day at the 4 month mark (3 days before).

Inland applications can be moved around the national processing network. So when they do, they send out a second acknowledgement from the new office. Additionally, it could also be the AOR for the PA + the AOR for Sponsor. In either case, we only got one.

Just received our AOR's. Now we get to mess with ECAS and try to link everything up.

PA AOR - Apr 11th, 2017
Sponsor AOR - Apr 12th, 2017

We sent in our application March 28th, 2017 and it was scanned by March 29th, 2017.

Going through this thread, it seems to be 2 weeks for AOR under the new simplified spousal sponsorship package. We were exactly 13 and 14 calendar days. Good luck to all.

Does anyone know the new rules for police clearances? I know under the old forms you had to submit one for any country lived in for 6 months or more since 18, but I hear under the new guidelines it says you only need one for where you've spent most of your life since 18? Can anyone confirm what is true?
My spouse has spent most of his life in South Africa since 18 but spent 7 months in Namibia at one point, so not sure if we need for both countries or just South Africa!

Hey Folks,

The long weekend bought some happy news for me. My wife's Work Permit got approved today and i got a email from myCIC about it. It took around 65 days in total.

I am expecting it will be delivered this week.
