After the second stage of approval... you mean you got a decision made letter already? Or what do you mean by "after the second stage of approval"?
If you got a DM letter, then, it all depends on your location. Montreal and Etobicoke are the busiest/slowest offices to give landing appointments. But 8 weeks is about the maximum to get the landing appointment letter, so If you got your DM letter 2 months ago, I would recommend to call CIC.

Yes it's DM because it says your application is approved
Thanks though

are you in Toronto or Montreal? If you are in one of those region, that might be normal, but I would recommend to call CIC anyway.
My wife was landing in Montreal and we got the landing appointment letter about 8.5 weeks after DM, and she landed 2 weeks later.

Hi everyone, I'm so relieved. Landed on August 8, 2017 (September 6, 2016 applicant). Thank you @profiler and @sylvain1 for all your help. And for those all who are still waiting, just be a little more patient, it's coming anyday. :)
Congratulations! I hope you had a big party after landing!

This is probably the case. If not, smaller offices like to group landings together.

Hi guys,
I have a question. I'm March applicant inland spousal sponsorship 2017. I got medical request in July and i saw on ECAS that medical results have been received. I have not got police certificat request or Schedule A request yet, and i do not have any SA or AIP yet...Is it normal that i got medical request before police certificat request ? When should i get SA or AIP ? I'm so worried..Thank you in advance :)

"We are pleased to advise you that your final determination for permanent residence interview has been scheduled for:
6 September 2017 at 10 30 AM."

IN KELOWNA!!! :)

Wooooohoooo! It is hard to express how happy I feel that I am so close to be done!!

You might want to ask in the inland 2017 thread, as the 2017 process is dramatically different than 2016.

That said, you might want to call CIC's call centre to ask for a status update from them. 888-242-2100

Did you contact your MP in the end?

I did e-mail MP. Today I emailed him again to withdraw my request since they ended up scheduling my appointment in Kelowna not Vancouver.

Did they have anything like an application number? @GuyanaGirl did something similar about a landing taking a long time -- strange coincidence was the day they finally agreed to call, CIC sent an appointment email. Kinda feels like one of those...
