When did you apply? What does your timeline look like? Have you been asked to submit proofs of relationship or any kind of other documents lately?

Jagmeet, I applied on April 21 2016. Didn't have to submit any proofs for now. Only got medical request on May 30th 2017, and I did my medical on June 02 2017.

Just called the CIC centre also. The entire automated messaging thing changed. VERY STRANGE. I suggest you keep trying until you get an agent seeing as the IRC see web form is backlogged

No, actually about an hour ago I got a message for additional documents However I CAN see the message I've been requested to resend schedule A/back ground declaration AGAIN and I had to send a copy of my new passport. Since my current one on file expires next month. Looks like they're doing my background check now. I did medical yesterday

So, that message was sent today? For background check? Maybe you dont need to send it again, maybe it's just a glitch in a system....I dont know anything anymore

It was sent an hour ago yes. I don't think it's a glitch because like I said, they mentioned my passport in the same document WITH expiry date of my passport so it can't be a generic response. I also called the automated message and they said they're reviewing my background check. Didn't say that yesterday. However, I will say it took me a few tries to see the msssages. My wife had the same issue also. We were getting error page and that the GCKEY was down for maintenance but tried with a new browser and it worked

I finally got through to a live agent. She confirmed that there has been not request for additional documents.

I guess I should not go to see my MP today.

Just to confirm, telephone the call center. They should be able to see if a request was sent.

I think you should still visit Salma. You've sat in a holding pattern for far too long. And I think that this type of behaviour from IRCC (which is unacceptable) will persist, until the public pressures them to change..

MP called and apparently everything is passed; medical,background,sponsor. They have the documents I submitted on file now and the officer is reviewing them. They said they will call them back in 4 weeks.
