Help!!! I called IRCC today and got the automated message and it said we need additional documents and that we send you a message but we never got an e-mail. What should we do? I cannot get through to a live agent.

Just sent a CSE to inform IRCC.

Hi Browning, I have the same problem. I just logged in in MyCIC and I saw there that we need additional documents and that they send me a message but there is no new messages....I'm freaking out!!!
 
It seems they updated the system and now for me it shows they are processing "review of eligibility" which was until now a "will review next" thing, another thing is an added line " No finger print needed" lol, I hoped I also get DM like many people got :(
 
I just checked the mycic of my wife, just for fun...
It also says "We need additional documents to process your application. Check your messages below for details." So it seems to be a problem in the system, as, as you know, she landed already! Chamomile tea to calm your stress ;)!

LOL, Now I saw your message...I guess, it's just a glitch in the system then....Feel much better already! :)

Really difficult at work to keep trying and have to do it during office hours.
Yeh...all of us face the same problem..I will try again now.

One agent this morning told me its most likely a system problem and they will look into it because they didnt send me medical request this morning. Few other people called and they said same thing.

Tyara, telephone the call center line and go through the automated service. It will give you all the details that you see on MyCIC. Listen carefully to see if the message says that they need additional documents.

I telephone the to call center this morning hoping for a live agent but then was directed to the automated system, which has been updated. Now it informs your of all the sections we have in MyCIC.

Under the section "Requested for additional documents" it indicated that "We need additional documents to process your application. Check your messages for details".

When I went to the updated MyCIC I saw the same that a request for additional documents was made and that a message was sent. There was no message in the message area.

MyCIC has a few updates on the way it is displayed.

When I went to the updated MyCIC I saw the same message. Please check you MyCIC. IRCC also made slight updates on the way it is displayed.
You need to speak to an actual agent. The automated machine and cic account are linked. So you will hear and see same info there. I called and they told me there was a system problem after update this morning and they didnt send me any medical request. (Both automated machine and online account says the request for medical)

Still no news from them?
nope. MP is gonna give them a call,maybe they'll get some news. I was told it could be up to 26 months total from the cic office last time I called.

Yes, I did check MyCIC. It says the same thing as yours "Under the section "Requested for additional documents" it indicated that "A request for additional documents was made". And there is NO MESSAGE in the message area.

But Sylvan said that his wife has the same thing in MyCIC and she is already landed. So, I think we shouldn't be worried. Other people got the same thing. If they need anything from us, we would get this message. Until we got it (but I'm sure we will not), just relax....Maybe that means that we will get DM soon :)

Yes, now at least we got confirmation from agent that it is a system problem....I'm sure they will fix it soon

Yup someone else in the forum said that they are already working on the issue. Hopefully it will be back to normal by tomorrow im hoping.
