Carol, I spoke with cic today... a very polite girl told me that I'm going to have news from now to the end of March... everything is fine with my paperwork, and they are going trough 2015 in full speedy.

Let's wait a little bit more... go go go 2015. Because 2016 is getting nervous.

Just received an email from CIC saying that I submitted incomplete Family information form and/or Background form where you write down all the places where you lived and that's I have gaps there. Just double checked everything looks 100% correct . no gaps. Is there a phone I can call so they can look it up? Definitely need some explanation here.

888-242-2100. Unfortunately, it's been proven you should not at all believe what the agents say. What do you have for gaps on your forms?

I don't have any gaps. The only thing I can think of is that in the places where I lived I put one place till June, And next one starts in July. But I was there till the very end of June. If this counts as a gap this is weird. Family information looks 100% correct.

Excuse the boisterous laughter -- CIC does not have anyone that can really help on the phone, unfortunately.

Ok. Do you have a means to prove that it was June 30 and July 1? Or can you explain that easily? If so, submit a Case Specific Enquiry. That's probably the easiest bet. See: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp

Seems very confusing. Doesn't look like any gaps to me. They didn't specify what's wrong with it .

Specifically, you have submitted an incomplete Schedule A Background / Declaration (IMM5669) form(s) and/or incomplete Additional Family Information (IMM5406) form(s).

For the Schedule A Background / Declaration (IMM5669) form you must provide details for every

month and year since the age of 18 or the past 10 years from the date on which your was application

received (09/08/2016), whichever is most recent. There can be no gaps in this period of time.

For the Additional Family Information (IMM5406) form you must complete the required fields for all

applicable family members.

Question. For the family information form I put my name in both english and russian spellings. and my parents names only in english. That's the problem I guess.
