That what it says in the letter.

I live in Canada, been here since I was 12 so the only police check I submitted was a canadian one. You need to submit a canadian one assuming you are here and the one from back home.Zayana said:Hi Guys,
I’m new here. Just received Acknowledgment letter and it says to submit police certificate from my home country and country I’m currently live. I called cic and they told me that they not sure if I should submit Canadian criminal check as well. Does anybody had the same issue? I don’t know whether I should do Canadian police check. Please any advice.
Thank you
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! Thanks for posting this. I love getting "Helpful" agents. I'm December 1st! I think I saw you are December 20th---but not seeing you on the spreadsheet. Let's hope we hear even soon! Let's wait a little bit more... go go go 2015. Because 2016 is getting nervous.
when I applied for my work permit and my moms visitor visa I submitted one form but on top I wrote names in english and on the second line in russian. Will that work? never heard of doing two forms in 2 different languagesprofiler said:ABSOLUTELY. Cyrillic and English is required!

They specifically mention Names in both languages. I'll edit that one and submit, but literally no idea what's wrong with those time gaps. For personal history and addresses should I overlap them? For example one ends in 06 and next one starts in 06. Currently I have a couple that end 06 and start 07 month. I'll try to reach someone tomorrow from CIC but not sure how reliable they are. I just don't want to mess it upprofiler said:My wife is from Moscow.
We did one form with her family information in english, and one in cyrillic. It states you need to provide native tongue translations. One per page seems to have worked well -- they didn't ask for a resubmission.
Those forms are interconnected. They form the basis of your background check. Shoot me a PM and I can look at the specific details you had for time, and I can comment if you wish.lizololo said:They specifically mention Names in both languages. I had same problem as well.. and you mentioned already one place ends in june and the other starts in july.lizololo said:I don't have any gaps. The only thing I can think of is that in the places where I lived I put one place till June, And next one starts in July. But I was there till the very end of June. If this counts as a gap this is weird. Family information looks 100% correct.
Do I have to mention times when I traveled somewhere temporarily?Okz said:I had same problem as well.. and you mentioned already one place ends in june and the other starts in july.
Please be advised, your next starting dates should match the last date of the column. even if you spend 2 days some where you have to mention with accurate dates.
Last year (2015) I was able to claim the wife as a dependant. The taxable deduction was like $11,500. They allowed the deduction, despite her landing in Canada in September, and Marriage in June.GuyanaGirl said:Tax season !
Question time as well....
For applicants who have OWP, will you be clearing taxes this year?
My husband (the applicant) has OWP as of November 2016, but is not working yet. I wonder if I would need to file for him...your thoughts ? ???
