Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2016 timeline and updates

So you sponsoring your husband? My husband (sponsor) tried to call them ask any information about our application since we haven't heard absolutely anything for 8 months. They told him they can't talk with him because I suppose fill some representative file first? Did you need?

I am sponsoring my husband inland spousal sponsorship, we are using an immigration laywer and they know and i just got lucky dealing with a nice agent. and i played dumb and told her that our representative is not much help so they explain each step to me and i was really playing dumb and what is going on and they have my info plus we started the journey December 14,2015 so a year in the game and another year to go.

We are each other's representatives. That way either of us can call.

Expertise is such a strong word.

Your lawyer sounds like she has been sniffing the glue pretty heavily. On one hand, I am totally envious. Those pink elephants she must be seeing must be impressive.

That out of the way, she is ridiculous; absolutely out to lunch. I passed my wife's application in back in March, and we have yet to see a landing interview request. CIC is working in first in - first out fashion right now. So, when we get ours, there will be about 6-9 more months for you to wait for yours, give or take a bit. No one can really guess, but that's a way more realistic guess than 'a couple months'. WOW!

Assuming he is an inland applicant, he will need to renew his French passport, then advise CIC of the renewal via CSE, once he has it. Photocopy/scan and send the pdf to them. When he lands (the interview your high lawyer eluded to), they will complete the process, and request a PR Card for him, and give him a COPR. The COPR is what he needs to cherish with his life . That *could* be used if he needed to leave, while he waits for his PR Card.

Profiler, Yes you are right. I will call them tomorrow. But husband has a complicated case with 2 different names with 2 different dob. I think they are probably trying to get that sorted out.

@Kindness101 the way our laywer did it is she set it up and put his uci and my uci together so I use my uci birthdate where I am born and I can get his info and it tells me what's going and plus I do from time to time check up or I call cic myself. I suggest you do is ask her what going on and for your uci what is her name my husband lawyer name is arlete campion she is in lakeshore or etbicoke and what your lawyer name
