Could anyone give me some advises on how to order GCMS notes please?
1, Should I order it on behalf of sponsor or the applicant.
2, there is a question: 'Requesting information for: ' ? sponsor or applicant, who should I put on here.
3,*Specify the type of file you are requesting: sponsor's file or immigrant's file
4, *Which specific information are you looking for? notes from officer or documents sent/from IRCC?

So apparently ATIP decided to pull our record October 21 and send it an hour ago... an interesting read...

Frustratingly enough, Yes they have started things like: Criminality (which started months ago (may) and was returned NRT within 7 days; yet still remains "In progress"), I am guessing security (all the pages discussing security are blanked out and "s.21" at the top right corner); but they have yet to even assess the information we have submitted to them. Our case is in "Inland pending review". No officers notes on the file. Just when we call the call centre or have put a CSE in.

Interesting that the medical officer in New Delhi was who approved her medical though...

1/ There is 3 sets of notes you can access: Sponsorship Application, PR Application, and Medical. You probably want either (or both) Sponsorship Application and PR Application notes.

2/ You are requesting information for yourself -- if you are the PA. If you are the Sponsor, you can select the PA and include a consent form.

3/ See 1.

4/ You want officers notes.

NRT - No Reportable Trace. This is good -- means nothing on file.

Medicals are assessed by medical directors. They can be anywhere. It likely was assigned there, because they were coming to their life's end soon, and that director could assess them.

s.21 - Section 21 of the Privacy Act ( http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/P-21/page-4.html#h-15 ):
"
International affairs and defence

21 The head of a government institution may refuse to disclose any personal information requested under subsection 12(1) the disclosure of which could reasonably be expected to be injurious to the conduct of international affairs, the defence of Canada or any state allied or associated with Canada, as defined in subsection 15(2) of the Access to Information Act, or the efforts of Canada toward detecting, preventing or suppressing subversive or hostile activities, as defined in subsection 15(2) of the Access to Information Act, including, without restricting the generality of the foregoing, any such information listed in paragraphs 15(1)(a) to (i) of the Access to Information Act.

The case has not even been through primary review. That's the frustrating part. They have had it for 9 months, and they only started Medical/Criminality/Security. They have not looked at pictures, evidence, nothing.

I requested both. Where it asks what you are looking for, tell them the GCMS notes for both Sponsorship and PR applications.

@ Profiler: I also got my GCMS notes 2 weeks back. I was wondering when they have run their search and got NRT (same in my case), do you think they can ask for police verification again?

Validity Date: 2017/05/30

So I guess they may run it again if we haven't landed by 2017/05/30.

No I called yesterday as a courtesy to my 2016-ers . No call today, and I doubt they did a whole week in 8hours of work .

After family court was resolved (out of court), my ex's lawyer sent the case to FRO (it was a nice surprise for me, to see that a previous employer had been mailed a Notice of Garnishment from FRO to collect support at the source). Despite me not being in default, or even a day late -- I was paying support before lawyers were involved! So, my ex and I met up and signed the papers and faxed them to FRO to withdraw. I followed up with a phone call to the case worker, who told me it's a formality and they would send a letter to my past employers telling them that there was no need for the previous notice.

So, all that to say, I know folks at the Ministry of Community and Social Services (ON) are working. They were in the office on Dec 23, and are in the office today (I followed up about an hour ago to make sure they were closing the file).

Being an employee of a federally-funded school, I also can report that they told me they locked up the doors (meaning I would get a visit from Security if I did enter the office) on Dec 22 and won't re-open until Jan 3.

So when it comes to things like that they are working or when people owe money they work. Why did your ex laywer do that to you. You think your ex wife purposely did that or the laywer something seems fishie there

Automatic process. Stupid for sure, but you can withdraw. We signed the withdraw as soon as we got the package.
