My understanding is that you can apply for TRV from within Canada if you have either a valid work permit or study permit.

Thanks Profiler: I wonder then when is the expected time for End May/ June 1 applicants (according to your algorithm ). BTW in the spreadsheet it seems they have a gap in Aug, 15 but Sept onwards to Dec, looks like they are done. In that case they can jump to 2016 files right after I guess

Hi Sam,
Yes FIFO. The agent is not quite correct. Applications received Dec7 forward have a 12mos guarantee. The old ones still in the system will be completed processing before Dec 2017. They are looking to clear them out because of the FIFO... they're up to mid august 2015 for approvals now.

OMG I got something interesting to say, anyways I called cic and you know the regular blah blah so they say they are now working on stuff from July 2015. I Talk to a cic call center person name Francine so she was like everything in your case going well blah blah it still in process someone is working on it and now we have CIS and the police looks at your husband pcc and do any other check ups so we do that for everyone since my husband is a good boy it will be easy. Once we get approval from CIS and police we will request and she was like we are back logged from last year and she was like your case is going well no additional interviews or documents just sit tight so I was like by March or April they be working on December 2015 stuff she was like I do not know and she said for everyone they do ummmm a interal research on everyone profile. @Gabrielhca I suggest you do the same thing since you guys started 6 days after my husband so a year to go

So you sponsoring your husband? My husband (sponsor) tried to call them ask any information about our application since we haven't heard absolutely anything for 8 months. They told him they can't talk with him because I suppose fill some representative file first? Did you need?
